Good Bye

Perrie was pretty freaked out here. "Kookie you . . . what the hell? Where have you been?"

Jungkook descended onto them after floating ominously.

Perrie, Jimin and Jade exchanged expressions of confusion.

The maknae looked saddened.

Now that he was standing closer to them, Jimin could make out this white glow around Jungkook which kept flickering. "Maknae . . . what is . . . what are you right now?"

"I already told you once, my existence is flickering." Jungkook expressed. He showed them his hand.

Jade looked on in horror. She could see through him at times! "But . . . but why?"

"I have disobeyed too many laws. I am being taken away from life as punishment." Jungkook said sadly.

They couldn't believe what they were hearing.

"Wh-why are you only saying this now? Are you serious??" Perrie felt her heart rate increase tremendously.

Jungkook nodded. "I would have said so earlier but I knew that it would make our last moments together painful. So I kept it until now." His eyes went down to Taehyung who was glowing green much like he glowed white. "And the reason for Taehyung's behaviour is all my fault." He held his chest. "I wanted to take something away from you all with me. I wanted that when I disappeared that something would leave you all alone. A parting gift is what English speakers refer to this phenomenon as."

They were just trying their bests to keep up. This was all so frightening and just plain crazy! Was Jungkook really leaving them? Their little brother? Their friend? The kid who drove them insane but whom they adored anyway? What was this? A joke?

"How does Taehyung come into your gift?" Jimin said, feeling his heart breaking slowly. It is just a nightmare. A horrible, horrible nightmare.

Jungkook touched the top of Tae's head and they could now see green energy slithering out of Tae and into Jungkook. It looked like a thin thread. "By the time I vanish all of the amulet's energy would have been absorbed by me and it would disappear along with me. I would have put it into my own self before I disappeared but too much power cannot exist in one being for too long. I am already all powerful, adding the amulet to my massive reserves of strength would be way too great for this universe. If I had the amulet's power put in me directly . . . well catastrophe would occur. That is why Taehyung will help me to absorb it gradually in small bursts, all in the exact time it will take for me to disappear. Do you all understand?"

None of them did.

"Nothing even makes sense in this world anymore." Jade had to shake her head. "So Tae has all of the amulet's power in him now?" She looked at the guy who knelt on the floor with his head hanging. Tae was very quiet now.

"Yes. All of its evil energy is inside of him. Thousands of Terawatts of power and evil pulsing through his good veins." Jungkook smiled.

That didn't sound like something to smile at to Jade, Perrie and Jimin though.

"So . . . he evil now?" Perrie asked with eyes fixed on Jungkook.

Jungkook danced by hopping from one leg to the other.

They were even more lost.

"Taehyung is the goodest of all men. He will not kill all of you instantly. He will attack but he will hold back because his goodness will not allow the evil to take him over . . . or maybe it will. None of this is an exact science. It is not even science at all. It is almost as if it is magic. Like something out of the enchanted forest in Icey two." Jungkook grinned.
