Now it was later but later didn't mean that anyone had gotten over anything.

Leigh managed to pry herself out of bed that afternoon but it was only for the sake of checking on Jesy and her other friends. It really wasn't like her to wake up around one p.m. But today is different. Today, unlike every other day, she had a really giant hole in her heart. Maybe at some point she really had experienced something like a hole inside but something about the one inside of her now was extra crippling.

The girl kept rubbing her fiance's back while she stared blankly at the other young woman's hair. Imagine if we'd gotten to that mountain too late and you'd somehow managed to do away with yourself. Then right now, all of us would be in even worse condition. She bit her lip painfully, feeling her eyes burning as if ready to welcome tears. No tears came. Maybe her eyes really did run out of those.

"Kookie . . ." She whispered pathetically.

Someone came dragging their feet into their space just then.

Leigh observed the person and recognized them to be Jade. Right, she'd been rooming with us.

Jade held a cup of tea in hand as she came up to the bed.

Leigh looked at her while still stroking Jesy's hair back. "Is everyone out there okay?" She asked in a soft voice.

Jade sat at the edge of the bed with a sigh before sipping from her warm beverage. "They're as okay as people can be when one of their friends blew into smithereens in front of them the night before, a psycho is plotting against them and the entire world is up their ass at the moment because of leaked pictures of baby versions of some of them and . . . agh listen to me. These don't even sound like real life scenarios!" She threw her free hand up before shaking her head and continuing to sip.

Leigh's shoulders fell. She kept stroking Jesy's hair and staring at her own hand's action. "I forgot about the fact that we're all celebrities on top of everything." She found her next reaction inappropriate since now really wasn't the time to chuckle. But she did so anyway and had to shake her head afterwards.

Jade finished her tea and set the empty mug on the dresser. Now she turned to Jesy who appeared to still be asleep. "Do you . . ." She trailed off.

"Do I what?" Leigh inquired with raised eyebrows.

Jade stroked a curled finger onto Jesy's cheek. " . . . think that she's somehow fallen into some kind of cravings coma?" She didn't want to scare Leigh but the question was just in her mind.

Leigh tilted her head at Jade. "That's a thing?"

Jade shrugged blankly.

"Oh boy. It's another if it ain't one thing." Leigh stretched for her phone at the bedside table while saying this.

Now she opened it and went to Google. "Wow the news headlines say that the public is 'enraged' that we completely refuse to address anything being circulated about us." She shook her head. "I can only imagine the type of theories people are coming up with." She also saw missed calls and unanswered messages from several people. But that's normal for me when we have shit flying around about us. And now she was googling 'drug cravings coma'.

Suddenly two more people came into the room at that point.

"Oh thank goodness she seems to be still alive." Perrie said in relief with a hand to her chest.

Jimin breathed a sigh of relief as well. "I was beginning to think that on top of what happened yesterday that we would also have to deal with another friend being lost." He and his girlfriend came closer to Leigh, Jade and Jesy now.
