[ AUTHORS NOTE: Jack is 25 and Gab is 24 ]
Gabrielle's POV
I woke up the next morning and instantly felt horrible. I felt more tired than usual and my entire body felt heavier, like there was a bunch of sand in it holding me down. I figured I was getting sick since there has been a minor bug going around. I got up and used the bathroom and got some water. I didn't want to eat anything since I didn't feel hungry yet. Jack woke up and ate a bowl of cereal before getting to work on editing the vlog from yesterday. I cuddled up next to him and watched him. Nemo jumped up next to me and laid with us. I woke up a little later around 10:30 and Jack was gone. I heard him talking and figured out he was playing video games with John. I ate a small snack and had fun teaching Nemo some tricks. He enjoyed it especially because he was rewarded with treats. I got dressed into some leggings and a merch hoodie. I put my hair up in a ponytail and stayed away from makeup for the day. I decided to plan a prank very last minute, I told Jack I was going to the store and asked if he needed anything.
Jack: what are you getting?
Gabrielle: some cough drops, my throat hurts
Jack: I think I can tell you why your throat hurts *smirks*
Gabrielle: oh my god, do you need anything or not?
Jack: will you get some more ice cream please?
Gabrielle: chocolate?
Jack: yeah, thanks babe
Gabrielle: no problem, I'll be back
I got in the car and started filming.
Gabrielle: okay guys so I came up with this prank last minute so I don't know if it will go very well, but I am going to try and pregnancy prank Jack. *sighs* I told him I'm picking up some cough drops because my throat actually does hurt but I'm also getting a pregnancy test so I can make it seem like I'm pregnant!
I bought the test and went home. I put the ice cream away and set the cough drops on the counter. I went into the bathroom and shut and locked the door. I whispered so Jack didn't hear me.
Gabrielle: alright so I'm in the bathroom as you can tell, I have the test and I'm whispering so Jack doesn't hear me even though he has headphones on. Uh I am going to actually take it, then I'm going to set it on the counter so he'll come in and see it. I'm not going to write on it because it's funnier to just scare him otherwise the prank is kind of mean. Anyway I'm going to take it and leave it here and when he sees it hopefully he'll freak out. I honestly don't even think he knows how to read one so he might think it's real. I'm not sure but we'll see.
I cut the camera and took the test. I flipped it over on the counter to make it seem more real. I hid the camera and turned the light off as I left.
- 20 minutes later -
Jack: alright bye.
He turned the game off and got up. He walked into the kitchen and did something before coming back into the room and heading to the bathroom. I heard him peeing before it went dead silent.
Gabrielle: *whispers to camera* he noticed *laughs*
Jack: Gabrielle, come here right now
Gabrielle: why?
Jack: you know why come here now
Gabrielle: okay *walks into the bathroom* what's wrong
Jack: what is this? *holds up the test*
Gabrielle: a pregnancy test
Jack: you're joking. Gabrielle.
Gabrielle: what's so wrong about it?
Jack: what's so wrong about it? You're pregnant Gabrielle, I'm freaking out. We're having a child. TELL ME WHATS SO WRONG ABOUT THAT?!
Gabrielle: Jack, look at it
Jack: I did, it's f*cking positive Gabrielle!
Gabrielle: Jack, read it again
Jack: it's says two lines means pregnant one line means not pregnant, and guess what there are TWO lines.
Gabrielle: wait what *grabs the test* are you sure?
Jack: there is a faint line visible Gabrielle
Gabrielle: *covers her mouth with her hand* Jack this was supposed to be a prank, I didn't mean for it to actually say positive
Jack: where's the camera?
Gabrielle: over there *points behind the shower curtain*
Jack grabbed the camera and shut it off. I was too stunned to say anything and I had started crying. He hugged me and tried reassuring me everything was going to be okay. I was silently freaking out and just stared at the test. Our whole lives just changed forever. How are we going to handle a baby? We're still so young and I'm still trying to become a doctor and we have our YouTube channel to worry about as well. A baby. We're having a baby.
