Gabrielle's POV
-time skip-
so today I woke up extremely excited. We only have a few weeks left until baby girl arrives so I decided to have my sister drop off her little ones for the day so Jack and I can practice. She has 1 year old twins so it's the closest I can get in my family. I woke Jack up and told him we should start filming but he being the stubborn person he is refused to get up until the girls arrived. I thanked Madalyn and she left. I had the girls help me wake Jack up and he realized what I had done for the video. He got ready while I occupied the girls and then I had him put the car seats into the backseat. We buckled them in and set the camera up in the car.
Gabrielle: so guys, as you can see we have two special guests, aka my twin nieces Laila and Kiara. They are almost two years old and are currently the youngest in our family so I decided we could get some practice by babysitting these two for a day.
Jack: girls listen don't ever do this to your boyfriend because then you'll become a jungle gym for two year olds when you're woken up
Gabrielle: it's your fault you didn't wake up when I told you to
Jack: it's not my fault you wouldn't tell me what we were doing
Gabrielle: it was a surprise
Jack: I don't care if it was a surprise
Gabrielle: anyways we are on our way to the mall right now to buy some baby clothes and a few toys for Laila and Kiara
Jack: old people are probably going to think we just popped out a set of twins and instantly went for another right after
Gabrielle: Jack
Jack: I'm just saying Gabrielle *chuckles*
Gabrielle: we'll meet you guys in the mall
-in the mall-
We decided to get one of the double strollers to put the girls in so they don't run around. We got them some froyo and cleaned them up before we went to look at some clothes. I found three outfits and we checked out. Then Jack suggested getting a build a bear for each of them. I agreed and we went.
Gabrielle: Laila what bear do you want?
I showed her the bears and she picked a pink cat with purple eyes. Kiara picked a bunny with pink eyes. We stuffed them and "cleaned" them then had the girls pick out their outfits. Laila found a silver black and pink dress with a tulle skirt and gems around the neckline. Kiara picked a white tutu and a pink shirt and flower sandals. We named them and payed before leaving.
Jack: do you guys like your bears?
Kiara: *nods*
Laila: *shakes her head crazily and laughs*
Gabrielle: *to the camera* I think we did good guys, we're gonna let the girls play at the play place for a little bit and we'll go get some lunch
We ended up going to McDonald's since the girls are extremely picky and they've never had it before. Madalyn always makes their meals healthy and it's time for a small break for these two. I ordered them each a happy meal with chicken nuggets and apples. We sat in the play area and started eating.
Gabrielle: Kiara you have to eat two chicken nuggets and three apple slices before you can play okay?
Kiara: no
Gabrielle: then you can't go play with Laila
Kiara: no
Gabrielle: so you want me to take your toy too?
Kiara: NO! *throws a tantrum*
Gabrielle: *stands up* Jack keep an eye on Laila please *grabs Kiara and goes to the bathroom*
Jack: you think that ended well?
Laila: *shakes her head no*
Jack: me either *continues eating*
-later-
Gabrielle: alright lets go girls
Laila: but me pway so mo
Gabrielle: we have to go home though, do you want to see mommy and daddy?
Kiara: ya!
Jack: let's go play hide and seek with your bears
Kiara + Laila: ya!!
They ran after Jack to the car. I smiled at his success with them and followed. Madalyn met us at the apartment and the girls went home. I sat on the couch next to Jack and sighed.
Jack: don't tell me you're tired
Gabrielle: Jack I'm pregnant and we just babysat twins of course I'm tired
Jack: I was kidding but I love you
Gabrielle: I love you too
He pulled me closer to him and put his arm around me. I laid my head on his shoulder and we cuddled.
