Jack's pov
I sat in the living room and went through some emails as Lexa played with some toys. Gabrielle came in and sat next to me. she was posting a picture of Lexa on her instagram. she posted it and set her phone down. she broke the silence.Gabrielle: Jack?
Jack: yeah?
Gabrielle: can we talk for a minute?
Jack: yeah of course *puts his phone down* what's up?
Gabrielle: okay I don't know how to tell you this
Jack: you're scaring me Gabrielle what is this?
Gabrielle: okay well oh my gosh I'm just like really nervous
Jack: where's the camera? *looks around*
Gabrielle: no camera I swear I just.... *sighs* I want another baby
Jack: you're serious?
Gabrielle: yeah
Jack: you want another baby?
Gabrielle: yes
Jack: well I mean if you're down I'm down too, whatever you want
Gabrielle: *gasps* really!
Jack: yeah, if this is really what you want definitely I'm down
Gabrielle: yay! *hugs Jack*
- later that night -
Gabrielle: babe?
Jack: yeah?
Gabrielle: *walks out of the bathroom* how about this? *smirks*
Jack: when did you get that?
Gabrielle: a few days ago *climbs on the bed* I figured maybe you'd want to mess around a bit
Jack: I like where this is going
Gabrielle: me too *climbs on top of Jack* how about we get started on baby #2 tonight?
Jack: with what you're wearing it was already planned *kisses Gabrielle*
- you know what happens -
- the next day -
Gabrielle's pov
I help Lexa get on the barstool chair so she can help me with breakfast. I grab a bowl and a whisk and set it in front of her. I pour in the pancake mix and some water and let her mix it while I get the griddle out and spray it. I make mickey mouse shapes with them and Jack comes down as I flip the last one. he wraps his arms around my waist and rests his head on my shoulder.
Gabrielle: how'd you sleep?
Jack: good, I needed that last night
Gabrielle: it's only been a few weeks
Jack: yeah that's like a lot Gabrielle, you know me
Gabrielle: *chuckles* yeah yeah, Lexa baby are you ready to eat?
Lexa: yeah! *sits at the table*
Jack helped me with cutting up some fruit and we all ate them got ready.
Jack: *starts the vlog* alright guys so Gabrielle is getting Lexa dressed and ready because today we are going over to her twin sisters house to hang out for a little bit
Gabrielle: did you start without us?
Jack: maybe...
Gabrielle: Lexa, daddy started the vlog without us
Lexa: oh no dadda *holds her hands up*
Gabrielle: anyways, did you tell them what we're doing today?
Jack: yep, are you girls finally ready so we can actually leave?
Gabrielle: yeah, let's go!
- at Madalyn's house -
Gabrielle: so guys we are at my sisters house and if you don't already know she has twins and just recently had a baby so we came to help a little bit since Lexa can play with Kiara and Laila and Madalyn isn't as stressed about them since her fiancé isn't able to be here right now
Lexa: mommy ksmcxjaorn
Gabrielle: what?
Lexa: mommy ere *motions for Gab to follow her*
Gabrielle: Lexa has to show us something *follows Lexa outside to the playhouse* what is that?
Lexa: *giggles and jumps excitedly*
Gabrielle: why don't you play with your cousins for a little bit with daddy, okay?
Lexa: otay
I went back inside with Madalyn and the baby and we talked while the kids and Jack played outside.
Madalyn: so how have things between you and Jack been going?
Gabrielle: better, we worked on some of our issues that we were fighting over but we also talked about some other things too
Madalyn: like?
Gabrielle: well, we're trying for another baby
Madalyn: *gasps* yay! that's so exciting! I can be an auntie again
Gabrielle: *giggles* yeah, so.... boy or girl?
Madalyn: I see you two with another girl again
Gabrielle: yeah, Jack says we're gonna have a boy but I think that's just because he wants one
Madalyn: so what happens if it doesn't work out? I mean I hate to say it but having another baby can take a toll on your relationship sometimes
Gabrielle: I haven't really thought of it but i've been trying to be more open and talking to him about how I feel. the only hard part is he doesn't do the same, he likes to bottle things up and I understand why but it's a little frustrating
Madalyn: yeah, that's how it is sometimes but I think you two will get through it, plus the most important thing is that you're thinking about Lexa and how it will effect her
Gabrielle: she's doing good, but I think she can tell things have been a little different. it's hard because they just know, even if they can't say it they can sense it
Madalyn: with the twins we kept them pretty sheltered for a while and just kept everything positive but it's definitely a challenge at times
Gabrielle: well that's parenting for you
