gabrielle_moses lexa rose brinkman born on february 18 at 2:38 pm. 7lbs 5oz.
we got loads of comments congratulating us and tons of support from our family and friends. she's already met all of my family and most of Jack's family but we still have to show her to our friends, those friends being Josh, Katie, Jules, Saud, Adi, and Emily. we decided to do another youtube couples retreat but this time more laid back so they can meet her.
- 2 weeks later -
Jack and I packed everything you can possibly think of that lexa has just in case something happens. we plan to keep it in the car unless we need it and just bring the basics. we drove to the house in arizona and everyone surprised us with balloons and some cupcakes. we thanked them and brought everything to our room before having everyone sit in the living room to hold her. I gave her to Jules and Saud first and they talked to her, Jules cried a little before she went to Adi and Emily who didn't know what to say out of just staring at her. I smiled and she went to Josh and Katie.
Katie: oh my gosh she's so tiny aww
Josh: she's smaller than my bicep
Katie: we get it Josh you're ripped
Jack: that's my boy *laughs and high fives him*
everybody laughed
Katie: Josh I want a baby
Jack: well get started
we all laughed and I lightly punched Jack in the arm before taking lexa back. I set her in her swing and put it on low to rock her so she stayed asleep. the rest of us played some card games while she slept.
Katie: so Gab how was your delivery?
Gabrielle: I mean it was the usual that you would hear but I would definitely do it again if our baby is gonna be as cute as lexa is
Jack: it's all me *smirks*
Gabrielle: whatever
Jules: did you have to get stitches?
Gabrielle: yeah, luckily that wasn't the worst part
Adi: did Jack actually help or was he passed out? *laughs*
Gabrielle: he was very helpful actually, he did everything he was able to and I'm happy with what happened *kisses Jacks cheek*
Jack: what did I tell you about the cheek Gabrielle
Gabrielle: *smiles* sorrry *kisses him on the lips*
Jack: *pulls her closer before pulling away*
Emily: alright you two we don't need another baby brinkman just yet
Gabrielle: yeah babe we just had one
Jack: and I'd have a bunch more if we were alone
Josh: okay would you two like some privacy
Gabrielle: no, Jack *glares at him*
Jack: it's not my fault you're sitting on my lap
Gabrielle: *gets up and walks to a different seat*
Jack slapped my butt as I got up and we continued playing our games before lexa woke up.
Gabrielle: *picks lexa up* I'll be upstairs if anyone needs me
-later-
-knock on door-
Gabrielle: come in
Katie: *walks in* hey
Gabrielle: hey *hugs Katie* what's up?
Katie: I need to talk to you quick a sec
Gabrielle: oh no, what is it?
Katie: promise me you won't freak out?
Gabrielle: why?
Katie: you promise?
Gabrielle: yeah I guess
Katie: I'm pregnant
Gabrielle: where's the camera?
Katie: there's no camera this time, look around
Gabrielle: *looks around the room* from where I'm sitting I don't see anything but if I could get up I would
Katie: I'm sorry I came at a bad time
Gabrielle: wait you're pregnant?
Katie: yeah...
Gabrielle: oh my gosh yay! I'm so happy for you! congrats girl!
Katie: oh thank goodness I don't know why but I thought you would react badly
Gabrielle: no bad vibes here trust me after this one *points to lexa* it's all gone... does Josh know?
Katie: not yet, I have a plan. I'm going to tell everyone but Josh and if you're okay with it we're all going to tell him as a surprise before we leave
Gabrielle: I'm in
Katie: what about lexa?
Gabrielle: definitely in *laughs* wow you're gonna be a mom, I'm so happy for you Katie! *hugs her again*
Katie: I'm gonna have a little peanut like her soon, gosh you Jack made a cute baby
Gabrielle: thank you, I bet yours is gonna be adorable
Katie: this baby is gonna look like Josh I know that for a fact, his family's genes are strong
Gabrielle: I bet, his family does look very similar to him
Katie: I thought i was the only one that noticed
Gabrielle: me too
Katie: alright we'll I'm gonna go tell the others, don't tell Josh
