Considerate

Although he had been at Niall's london house many times before, it looked particularly inviting and cozy today.

"Now come on!", Niall said dragging Harry to the entry. "I bet you're cold."

Niall opened the door and turned on the lights. Harry took of his shoes and his jacket.

He winched as the fabric brushed the wounds on his hands.
When he hung up his jacket, Niall noticed Harry's hands which had been bleeding less than an hour ago.

"What happened?"

"I couldn't control myself.", Harry replied as if it was nothing.

"...And who did you hit?",Niall asked being a bit angry and dissapointed.

"The mirror in my bathroom..."

Niall looked in Harry's eyes with worry, then he gave him a warm smile.

"We probably need to bandage them, dont you think? Looks pretty painful.", he said.

Harry nodded and gave him a small smile.

Niall was always considerate and had never the intension to make you feel bad about something when you're already down and regret doing it.

After Harry's wounds were bandaged Niall made tea and grabbed some biscuits. He enjoyed taking care of his friends. Actually he loved it, making them feel better, making them tea, treating them like they were his children. Although Niall was pretty much still a child his own, he also liked playing the mother from time to time.

The friends sat down on the big brown leather couch in the living room. The couch was covered with all size of pillows and opposite there was a large window front which faced a lovely moonlit garden.

"How are you feeling?", Niall broke their silence.

"How does someone feel who has screwed everything up?" Harry said, looking at his reflection in the tea.

"...When was the last time you spoke to him?"

"I haven't seen him since we broke up. He doesn't answer his phone. And his friends won't tell me where to find him...I completely fucked up, Niall.", tears built up in Harry's eyes,"I...just miss him so much."

"Don't cry or I'll start as well!", Niall said smiling while he opened the package of chocolate chip cookies.

Then he looked at Harry, who tried to hold back his emotions. It was so sad to see his best friend so heart broken. Harry was always so positive and happy, but since things ended with Louis, he was a total mess.
Of course Niall had spoken to Louis too.

Louis had come over and cried on that same couch and Niall had to hold him and tell how everything would get better.

"I promised Jay to take care of him. I promised him to never hurt him again. But I did. I hurt him."

"Shh.. calm down. You did something bad. I honestly never thought you would do something like this especially not to Louis. But you didn't mean to and you regret it. You're feeling incredibly sorry no doubt. It'll all work out. You just need to let him take his time. He trusted you and you broke his heart. You need to understand how he feels right now and that he doesn't want to see you. But you're made for each other and you will come back to each other. It'll work ou-"

"No, he has already moved on", Harry said through tears,"He-he found someone else. He doesn't love- doesn't love me anymore. Why should he? He deserves someone who's not a-a cheater!"

"He still loves you, Harry.
Give him time. Right now he can't trust you. When he's ready, you can have a talk. You can tell him how sorry you are. Wait for him!"

Niall gives Harry a reassuring smile.

"...I-i miss him so much"

"I know ...but promise me that you'll never hurt him again"

Harry broke down in tears:
"Never. Never again."
