Lovely pale blue sky

Louis was sitting on his black couch, staring at the TV.
Some movie was playing but the volume was too low for him to understand what it was about.

He felt hungry, maybe he could get something from the store nearby.
But what time was it even?
He wanted to check the time, the stores could be closed by now. He couldn't tell, cause it was always dark in his apartment.

He grabbed in his pocket to get his phone, but it wasn't there.
Then he remembered.

Yesterday he had thrown his phone in the trash out of frustration.
His friends and family had been calling him non stop. Asking if he was okay - well he didn't know if that was the reason, cause he never answered his phone.
Now that he thought about it, he realised that that probably wasn't the reason for them calling.

Nobody cared for him. Yeah - that was right, he just needed to remind himself that.
No one cared, not even the love of his life, not even his friends, not even the person who saw him at his lowest point.
That person just decided to leave without a reason and if that wasn't enough to proof his theory, what was?

Maybe there was a reason, maybe he was the reason.
Jermaine was there when Louis felt down, but then he must have realised why Harry hurt him in the first place and understood that Louis wasn't worth to care about.
- Of course it was like this.

He had felt bad back than, but that was not comparable to his feelings now - now that he knew he really deserved it.

He wouldn't find out the time by just sitting around and doing nothing so he just figured he should go outside.

He put on the nearest shoes and jacket he could find and grabbed the last package of cigarettes he had.
Quitting smoking was not an option - it was just the best distraction really.

When he opened his front door, he had to narrow his eyes at the light outside his door. He could have bet it was night time by how sleepy he felt, but this proofed him otherwise. He walked down his street and turned a few times until he came to the shopping area.

But he had changed his mind.
He was just going to walk and catch some fresh air.
The people in the mall made him feel uncomfortable and he felt to lazy to go grocery shopping.

He closed his eyes a few times and took a few deep breaths. It was a lovely spring day and he quiet enjoyed this walk despite being really tired. He had finished a cigarette and the nicotine combined with the wonderful weather made him forget a bit - mostly the growling in his stomach and the fact that he had wanted to buy something to eat.

He had his eyes shut for just a second too long, cause all he realised next was that something soft and warm crossed his way, of course he bumped into it and fell to the ground.

"Oh god honey, I'm so sorry"

Louis opened his eyes and looked at the woman who had fallen to the ground in front of him.
She had warm brown hair, a huge red scarf around her neck and shoulders, that matched her flushed cheeks.
Her body was wrapped in a large brown fluffy coat and her eyes shone pale blue just like the sky on that day.
Her appearance somehow reminded Louis of a fairy, however he quickly remembered that he hadn't said something yet.

"Oh no it's fine, are you okay?",he said nervously, standing up and reaching her his hand to help her up.

This was his first real social contact in  almost a month and he felt like he forgot how a conversation worked.
But his thoughts were brushed away as the woman took his hand and pulled herself up showing him a sweet and happy grin.

"I'm so sorry. I saw that you had your eyes closed, I could have gotten out of your way but I was just too deep in my thoughts to realise it, I guess", she said a bit embarrassed but then she gave Louis her fairy-like smile again, looking too adoreable with her small tooth gap.

"No you shouldn't apologise.- I think I shouldn't run around with my eyes closed.", Louis chuckled a bit.

'All I do is making other people's life worse. Even a strangers life. I just ruined her day'- he thought but before he could think any further his thoughts got interrupted by a sweet giggle.

"Oh honey it's all right!", the woman said softly and chuckled lightly.
"But if you really feel like its your fault, you can do it well by letting me  invite you over a coffee"

"I would love to..."he hesitated.

'Your ruining her day, your not worth it'

"...but I don't want to take up your time...", he said shyly.

"-Nonsense, honey" the woman said encouraging,"I was meeting up with my girlfriend in a cafe anyway."

"Oh...but I don't want to thirdwheel a date", Louis tilted his head smiling slightly.

"Oh please, she would love to meet you. And I would love to get yo know you", she said with an exiting smile on her face.

On one hand Louis knew that he didn't deserve to spend time with such a lovely person, but one the other hand she wanted him to and he felt guilty for bumping into her.

She grinned at him and showed him her expecting eyes.

'If she would act less of a fairy as she looks like, this would be a lot easier' he sighed mentally.
'Here goes nothing', He thought.

"...If you insist. My name's Louis by the way.", Louis chuckled slightly.

"I'm Anna.", Anna said with a warm smile as she linked their arms and guided them to the cafe.
