Jungkook was always an extremely stern and proud person in front of others. But, he was conversely the opposite towards me.

But Jungkook is like the weather. He is so unpredictable. At times, he acts snobbish, even towards me.

I remember once, with great difficulty, I painted my nails and did a nail art on them. Jungkook was sitting on the couch, reading a book. I ran to Jungkook and started showing off my nails "Jungkook~ I painted my nails. Do they look good?"

I even did a bunny nail art, so that he would acknowledge my love for him. But all he did was insult me.

"It's okay. Not that good." He said with a displeased voice, arching an eyebrow.

Considering the amount of time I spent on it, I was beyond frustrated "Eh! I tried so hard to paint these nails! How could you say they aren't that good?!"

Jungkook snorted and gave a proud smile "This is not even hard. I could have done it even better for you."

By now, I was fuming with anger "HAH! SO SHOW ME!"

"I'll show you. This is easy for me..." he sneered.

What the...?! I can't just let him win so easily! "Listen, if it comes out ugly, you have to pay for me to paint nails. Deal?"

Jungkook smirked "Okay. That's fine. Deal."

He brought the necessary items and immediately started his work. He didn't even spare a glance to his surroundings.

One hour had passed since Jungkook started his work. And, he still didn't finish it yet. I could feel my hand going numb. Fed up of stretching my hand, I asked Jungkook "It's been so long. Are you done?"

Jungkook broke into a cold sweat. He didn't know how to do it. He trembled "Haha. Almo... almost done..."

Excited to see his work, I looked down to look at my nails. Even an amateur could do better than him. I broke into a burst of loud laughter "Ah! Hahaha! What's this? This is so ugly!"

He frowned "It's harder than it seems. Whatever."

I started wiggling my hands in front of him, with a small pout "Pay me.."

Jungkook sighed "I'll pay. Just go with my card."

"I meant you have to come with me to paint your nails too~ you have to come," I told him, smirking.

Jungkook froze on the spot. He was as good as a statue. Haha.

And the next thing I knew, we were in the parlour, showing off our nails to get it painted.

Jungkook couldn't even smile during the whole process. He was so embarrassed, that he wanted to wear the hoodie backwards so that the hood can cover his face.

The one who was doing  Jungkook's nails was in awe "Sir~ you're such a nice boyfriend. I can't believe you will paint your nails with your girlfriend. That's so cute~"

Jungkook facepalmed himself in embarrassment.

I was a giggling mess "Yeah. My boyfriend is the best~ Haha."

The nail artist was awestruck "You guys are so cute~"

Jungkook couldn't lift his head. He was looking at the floor, the entire time.

"Done~ you would love it!" The nail artist squealed to Jungkook.

He was looking at it with his mouth agape. His eyes were filled with regret for accepting the deal. I patted his back and started giggling.

He was filled with embarrassment "Oh my gosh... I'm washing it off when I get home! I'm paying now."

As he was paying with his credit card, two young women entered the parlour "Hi!! I have booked for today. Can I do it now? I brought a friend..." then her gaze shifted towards Jungkook "...as well. Ah! Vice director!!"

Those two women work in Jungkook's company. He was stupefied after looking at them. The woman's gaze then shifted towards his fingers which were holding the credit card. Her eyes widened in shock. "Sorry. I'll come another day!! Vice director, I've not seen anything!!" And with that, she dragged her friend and ran away.

Jungkook still didn't understand the situation until the woman came back and told "It's fine... everyone has their hobbies. Liking to paint nails is normal. But, I'll keep your secret."

The cashier broke into fits of laughter.

The next day, I got to know from Jimin (he works in Jungkook's company as well) that there were various rumours about Jungkook floating around in the company such as...

'Vice director seems to like to paint nails...'

'Really? I knew it~'

'Ahhh~ I don't believe it! But Jungkook is so handsome...'

As a result, Jungkook's proud, stern and cold upfront in front of others, was shattered into pieces. Jungkook was fuming.

In the end, to calm Jungkook's anger, I got 3 hickeys from him...
