THE BET

MEMORIES

Jin's POV

I rushed into the hospital, looking for taehyung

"Excuse me" I said stopping at the desk, "yes sir what can I do for you" she said smiling, "I'm looking for my boyfriend", "what's his name" she asked, "taehyung-Kim taehyung" I said out of breath, "I'm afraid he's in surgery right now" she said making a pity face, I groan in frustration, I then walk over to the surgery room, and wait outside for someone to come out

I sat there feeling guilty, if I had just went maybe this wouldn't have happened, or maybe if I didn't bring up the topic at all he'd be okay, but he can't leave me, were gonna have a child together, were gonna get married, he said I was his future.......he can't leave me, I'd be nothing without him, I sat there just crying

it's been 2 hours and their still not out, I'm starting to freak out, what if he's dead, I can't bear the thought of him being dead, I brush off the thought and think happy thoughts

He's okay!
He's perfectly fine!
We are gonna have a future!
He's loves me so he'll fight to stay alive!

I let happy thoughts run through my mind, just then a man came out, "the family of Kim Taehyung" the man said looking around, I jumped up, "that's me" i said wiping my tears and walking to him, "well sir...it appears he has a broken arm and leg...a few fracture bones and a I'm afraid he's in a coma....he also has a few cuts and scratches, but besides that he should be fine", the doctor said smiling at me, I didn't like the things he had but I was happy he was okay

"If you want to see him I'll tell you the room number and you can see him" the doctor said patting my arm and smiling to make me feel better, "uh yes please" I said looking at him as I was crying, "okay he's in room.......213" the doctor said pointing in a direction to walk and then bowing before leaving, I returned the bow and walked in the direction given

I was crying as I was passing the room numbers, "210...211....212.....213, I stopped at the door and stared at it for about a minute or two before walking in, when I did he was connected to a lot of machines, I wasn't a doctor nor did I learn anything so I didn't know what they were, but he had a breathing tube down his throat while there was a cast on his leg and arm, he had a IV in his arm and a little thing that looks like a band-aid around his finger that had a red light dot, all you could hear was the beeping the machine was making and the air that was being pumped into his tube

I started crying at the sight, I felt my legs get very wobbly, and I wanted to fall but contained myself, I then walk over to him and put my hand on his face and start crying

"I-i-m so so s-sorry" I cried laying my head on his chest, "it's all my fault your like this" I said looking back at him as my face was a crying mess, "i don't know what to do if you don't wake up" I said crying even more, "I can't live without you" I said holding his hands, "please come back to me" I said very quietly as a tears fell from my face

I held his hand and laid my head beside his waist, I was laying there crying, I was crying so much that I didn't notice I had fallen asleep

THE NEXT MORNING

"Um excuse me sir" a lady said tapping my shoulder, "yes" I said sitting up and whimpering a little as my neck hurt, "I need to change this" she said pointing to the bag that had clear liquid that was hanging on the long pole that was beside his bed, "oh I'm sorry" I said getting up, she just smiled, "it's okay" she said walking to it to change it

"Oh are you pregnant" she said looking at my belly that I didn't care to hide, "oh um yes" I said very nervous, "I'm happy for you" she said smiling, "who's the lucky dad" she said after she changed it and walked up to me, "unfortunately he's the one laying in the bed" I said looking at taehyung, her smile then disappeared, "oh my I'm so sorry" she said bowing, "no it's okay.....I guess I have to get use to it right" I said smiling a little smile to make her feel better, she only smiled a little and rushed out the room

I then look back to the unconscious boy in the bed, I felt tears beaming in my eyes again, as I remembered the dream I was having

IN DREAM

"Come get me" Jin said running around the park, that taehyung had propose to him
"You think your faster than me" taehyung said smiling while running after Jin faster than before, he soon caught Jin and picked him up while spinning him around, "I got you" taehyung said smiling as Jin just pouted, "it's not fair" Jin said pouting even more, "how" taehyung said laughing, "your way faster than me.....you could at least give me a head start" Jin said now him sitting on taehyungs lap not caring if people stare, taehyung then pecks his lips and Jin just giggles, Jin leans in and taehyung closed his eyes waiting for contact but never felt it, then then saw Jin getting up and running while laughing, taehyung started laughing at his fiancés actions and got up to chase him once again

END OF DREAM

I cry as I thought about it more, I wish we could go back to those times and have fun like we use to, but I knew it would be a while till that happened

I'm so depressed these past days srry to take it out on my book 🥺
