(PLS READ) a/n: Never give up on your dreams

Hi guys! Sorry for the recent lack of updates... I've been a little busy lately BUT trust me when I say there will be updates SOON.

Apart from my apology to you guys, there is something I want to say.

As a child, I've dreamed of becoming the usual things children wish for; a princess, a superstar; and even a bunny (impossible past me). But as time passed, I realised that my dreams began to fade away. My family and friends began to take their own paths in their career and knew exactly what they wanted to do.

Whereas me. I began to lose interest in the things I did and grew up not really knowing what I wanted to become. My parents pushed me into becoming a doctor or and dentist, something within the medical field and can make a lot of money, but I wasn't really feeling it.

Then, started my final years of high school. This was the most life changing part of my life as I lost fake, toxic friends and found new friends, I knew I would be with for the rest of my life. They helped me find my way in life and helped me build my confidence and strength - my unique personality as a human being.

I realised that I loved learning languages when I started taking Japanese classes in school. I found it quite easy to learn languages. It was then I found my destined career path; a linguist which included interpreting and translating.

Graduating high school, I got myself into my preferred university that wasn't too far from my family home (my parents would cry if I left my house and lived on my own... worrywarts) and offered my language course. HOWEVER, there was one problem.

It had a VERY limited amount of languages I could study and let me tell you, I am interested in over 10 languages when my university only offered 4. Big disappointment.

But I wasn't going to let it put me down.

This was the first time in my life I had ever strongly wanted to do something in my life. So, I researched where else I could learn the other languages I wanted. My answer? Online course and apps. BUT it costed money. And finding a job where I lived and worked around my schedule was hard. A friend of mine spent 4 years looking for a job and STILL no luck.

Again, not going to put me down. So, I researched where else I could get at least some passive income for my dream and a thought occurred in me. What if I could use my writing hobby to help me? And that folks leads me to THE MAIN POINT OF THIS AUTHOR NOTE.

Now, I'm not forcing y'all to pay me. Of course, I'm still going to update on Wattpad. But this just means that I'll be updating slower (perhaps once or twice a month) as I'll be focusing on Patreon; allowing frequent and earlier access to my Patrons.
