Chapter 6

John's P.O.V.

after school, i walked alex to his car. he smiled at me "again, thank you" i rolled my eyes playfully "i told you, its no big deal" alex chuckled and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. he took one out for himself, and held he box out to me "want one?"

i had smoked a couple times, mostly at some party one of the poplar kids were having. but smoking another time couldnt hurt. "sure" i replied and took one of the cigarettes. alex took out his lighter, and lit my cigarette before lighting his. we stood there smoking in a comfortable silence for a couple of minutes, until alex decided to blow his smoke in my face again. i smirked and blew my smoke in his face, but he seemed unbothered by it. alex chuckled "i smoke all the time. that doesnt bother me"

i playfully rolled my eyes, and put my cigarette out. alex followed suit. alex sighed "well i gotta get home. see you tomorrow" alex said in a kind of a worn out tone. "okay alexander" i said with a bright smile.

alex opened his car door and looked at me "dont call me alexander. just call me alex" i nodded "okay" 

i walked away from his car, and to the usual bench i sit as while i wait for my mom to pick me up. laf and herc might have already left while i was smoking with alex, so there is no use trying to find them. i heard footsteps approach me, and i looked up to see my ex boyfriend, Francis Kinloch. i glared at him "what do you want."

francis only smirked, taking a seat next to me "so, i see you are getting very close with that....Alexander hamilton"

"and? why is that your business?"

Francis chuckled darkly, and gently stroked my cheek. "cause i care about you johhny~" i slapped his hand away and growled "dont. call. me. that. and if you did care about me, you wouldnt have gone off and cheated on me with so many people! im just a toy to you!"

Francis harshly grabbed my jaw and spoke in an aggressive tone "watch how you speak to me. herc and laf were there to save you last time, but i dont see them anywhere around here. do not test me john." i whimpered quietly because of his grip on my jaw. "now" francis began "i know something about alex that you dont. his family is dangerous, and i dont want my johnny getting hurt. so stay away from him. if i see you near him again, there will be consequences."

 francis harshly let go of my jaw and walked away. i curled up in a ball and a few tears spilled out of my eyes. i seen my mom's car pull up next to me. she rolled down the window and looked at me with concern. "whats wrong sweetie?" i quickly wiped my tears, and put on a fake smile 

"im fine mom! just...fine..."
