I sat there in denial for a few days.
Pretending that everything was okay.
I faked a smile and faked a laugh,
I pushed everyone away.
But then the memories all flooded through me,
Everything hurt.
The pain, the heart ache, the tears, the panic attacks.
I felt abandoned.
I felt lost.
You were home,
Being in your arms felt like home.
And now I'm completely lost.
