The Anger

Why has society turned beauty into a certain definition?
Why is it that to be beautiful you need to have plump lips,
a certain skin tone,
a "perfect" nose,
a certain weight,
a certain body shape,
a certain style,
a specific language,
a specific eye shape.
Why is it, that to be beautiful, makeup, is crucial.
Why is it, that to be beautiful, a male must define you.
Why is it, that to be beautiful, if a male does not like your
appearance, then you are suddenly known as "ugly?"
Why does everyone judge the way someone is born
Judge the way someone is naturally beautiful
Why has society caused us to want facial surgery's,
to make us more beautiful?
Why is it, that the "fake" is now the normal
Why is it, that our plastic faces, are now called beauty?
What has society done to all the women
to make them hate themselves in the mirror
to make them hate the faces they were born with
why is natural beauty, a face full of makeup?
Why is any of that normal?
Makeup is not bad, but why use it to cover up something
so pure, and something so innocent under the eyes of men.
