°Chapter 8| a small spark?°

While you were sleeping, Eddy kept glancing on you, seeing your beautiful face and he kept on smiling. It seems like he still can't get over from you he kept reminiscing for all the times that you spent, life with you before was magical in his perspectives.

But the both of you drifted apart and went into your own destinies. You left him because you found him with another woman, you cried too much and ignored him. You didn't wanted to see him anymore, it was clear to him that the both of you were done.

You didn't wanted to hear his explanations, you were trapped in your own thoughts, you had enough.

By this time, it was 6:36 pm when you woke up. You were awoken by the sounds of car horns and bumpy paths, you had a nap for about 10 minutes.

You noticed that you were using Eddy's coat as a blanket. You took it off and gave it to him but he insisted that you have to use it, plus; it's so cold and you're only wearing a shirt and jeans.

You found your violin at the backseat and was relieved knowing that it's safe.

You glanced at Eddy, he was wearing a white long sleeve polo with his black jeans. While you kept glancing at him, he glanced back at you, ending up looking at each other on the eye for a minute. While you were making eye contact, you felt butterflies on your stomach, it was very uncomfortable. While Eddy's heart was beating so fast, hmmm...

You suddenly looked at the road and shouted;
"Car..!"

Eddy hurriedly turned the wheel to avoid the car from colliding and the both of you were safe. You were shocked and almost lost your sanity.

"What the hell was that!??" He said. "That car was driving on the wrong lane, thank God you noticed Ellie, if you didn't then we'd be-."

"Dead? You interrupted with a sassy and kind of an angry tone, "And also, weren't you supposed to be looking at the road?!?"

"I-I was, but I.... looked at the mirror! Yes, I did."

"Ohhh." You pretended that you understand but you immediately noticed that he was lying, the both of you knew that you had a very long eye contact that provoked Eddy to lose control.

Eddy stopped on a restaurant and the both of you ate dinner. You were always making small talks. And had less real conversations with each other.

When you were done, he drove you home, which is just few blocks away from the restaurant. He said goodbye to you, "bye.." you murmured as you walked out of the car.

That was so weird, I don't think he heard that, I think he did. Ughhhh... that was so uncomfortable.

You went inside your house, but before you opened your door, your brother; Charlie opened it first. He hugged you saying, "I was so worried, why weren't you there?"

"The important thing is that I'm finally here, I gotta go to bed, I'm so tired." You said while starting to climb the stairs.

"Did you ate already?" He added.

"Yes!." You shouted just for him to hear you while you were approaching your room.

You opened your door, took your bag off, carefully placed your violin case on a chair, jumped into your bed and instantly fell asleep.
