Another day went by, and I seem to still feel embarrassed about what happened. I couldn't take my mind of Brett being Eddy's brother. I was shook, startled and confused with my emotions. But why would I care? I'm not into Eddy anymore, I have moved on, I have changed now but I think he still haven't, he still looks me in eye and express his care, like he wants me back?

I noticed how long my brother has been away, he said he'll be back within three days but it has been a week, well... I guess he meant three weeks.

While I was washing the dishes from lunch, I received a text message from Brett.

Brett: hey.

                     What's up? :Ellie

Brett: How are u?

I'm good, I guess :Ellie

Brett: Sorry about
what happened
yesterday.

It wasn't really your fault,
I just got out of hand and
had a small panic attack
but its okay :Ellie

Brett: I want to make it
up to you. Do you have plans
this Saturday?

No not really :Ellie

Brett: I want to
talk to you.

I'm not really
in the mood for now :Ellie

Brett: oh, its alright but
I gotta go now. If you need
something just tell me.

Okayy :Ellie

After washing the dishes, I went to my bedroom and lay on the comforts on my bed. I was extremely craving boba but I was feeling lazy to go out today.

I stared on the ceiling again, feeling bored and useless. I had nothing to do anymore so I pick up my phone downstairs but then I heard a knock and saw Brett at the front door carrying two bubble teas on his right hand while his left hand knocks on the door, patiently waiting for me to open.

Damn, this man knows me well.

I opened the door and saw his grin. "Care to share this with me?" He asks as he raises the cups. I greeted him with a smile and let him inside to place the cups on the kitchen counters. I was surprised to see him at this time of the day just to visit me.

I looked at him and asked, "How'd you know-" But before I could finish he starts, "My senses are tingling, and I know you're not okay. And I also remember that we used to love boba, so I figured why not." He smiles.

"Gosh, these are really good." I said right after taking an 8 second sip.

"I know right." He says, "slow down Ellie."

After a minute, I completely devoured the drink and still wanting more.

"Too bad that these are small sized." I said, and with the looks of it I want to order another one. Brett's eyes connects mine and he quickly looks away but then says, "We can go out and buy a larger one, if you want to you know?"

"That would be great." I immediately said. He smiles again, "the let's go!"

We left the house and went to a boba shop to order some more, it was their best seller and I couldn't stop myself to buy the larger size.

And then we both took a seat on the cafe, and once we finished it, we strolled through the streets of the town.

My eyes were caught by this beautiful bundle of flowers that smells really nice, I asked the lady who owns flower shop for the price but she brightly smiles and gave it to me for free.

Our conversation was mostly about ourselves, Brett made me laugh uncontrollably when he suddenly hits a pole.

My feet was sore and tired so Brett offered me to sit on a bench near the river, there were people passing by and we continued the conversation but the sun was almost gone so the both of us watched the sun set and the skies were getting dark as it kept going down.

Since it was already 6:08 pm, we both rode a taxi when went back home. My house was just near the main town, so I got off the car first. He guided me back to the street where I live because 'most of the street lights were off' he reasoned.

As soon as we arrived to the door I greeted him, "Goodnight."

He smiles and says back, "Goodnight."

I went inside the house and turned on the lights. I caught a glance of him walking away, I couldn't stop myself but to smile by just looking at him. As he goes further away the area he slowly faded into the darkness and I couldn't see him.
