Omniscient POV
The ice between Zhan and Yibo was melting gradually. Yibo was showing him his sweet and caring side by helping him and taking care of him. But Zhan was still cautious of him and used to ignore him.
Currently, Zhan was spending time with his best friends Chen and Luhan in his house since it was Christmas evening.
They were watching a football match but then got tired.
"Hey let's do something else I'm bored," Luhan said with a bored tone looking at the other two.
Zhan and Chen gave him an I-don't-know look.
"You guys are lame. Let's play truth or dare!!" Luhan said excitedly.
"As your wish. Who's first." Zhan asked them.
"Me," Chen said cheerfully. "Luhan truth or dare."
"Truth."
"Did you kiss Jize last week?" Chen asked.
"Y-yes" luhan said embarrassed. He's a vindictive person. So he asked,
"Chen truth or dare."
"Dare"
"I dare you to kiss Zhan." He said smirking proudly.
"Hey, w-why?" Zhan said panicked.
"Chill bruh it's just a game," Luhan said cautiously.
Zhan and Chen looked at each other and started leaning in, with their eyes closed. As their lips touched they pulled away immediately. Both were embarrassed. But Chen was blushing and smiling.
Ring ring
"Wait for minute guys," Zhan said and stood up.
"Hello, Yibo why are you calling me?" Zhan said angrily.
"I'm standing by the window. " Yibo said from the other side waving at him.
"Why are you here?" Zhan said over the phone terrified a little.
"I know you love fireworks," Yibo said and started lighting some fireworks.
Zhan just saw the view, dazed and excited like a child.
But how did he know since I never told anyone about that?
As he got out to see yibo he was already gone.
"Zhan Zhan!!!" Luhan shouted from inside.
"Yeah, coming," Zhan said going back inside.
"It's late we are going home take care." They bid their goodbyes and then parted their ways.
Next day
"Zhan comes to xxxxxx hospital immediately," Luhan said over the phone. It was still early in the morning. Zhan just woke up but he rushed as it looked like something important.
He arrived at the hospital and saw luhan waiting for him at the gate.
"What happened?" He asked luhan with concerning tone because luhan was crying.
"S-someone attacked Chen last night and c-cut his l-lips." Luhan managed to say.
"W-where is he?" Zhan asked him getting disappointed.
He rushed to the room and saw Chen who was laying on the bed as all the necessary medical treatment was already done.
He saw him and tears began to roll down from his eyes.
"I'm sorry I wasn't able to help you, I'm aid crying hard.
He stayed there with him for days till he gets alright. He was blaming himself for all this as Chen was his friend and he should be there with him when he needed him.
While Yibo was smirking from afar.
"How dare you kissed him. His everything is mine."
