In the past few days, Yibo didn't stop stalking Zhan. And Zhan was getting frustrated with the whole situation, yeah he did like the way Yibo would help him or how he would be always there for him whenever he needed help, but these past few days Yibo went overboard according to Zhan.
Zhan was coming out of the store both hands were occupied with the heavy bags. He was walking continually but then he saw a bench on the sidewalk and decided to rest there for a minute or so. When he opened his eyes he saw that his head was resting on someone else's shoulder and it was almost dark. He stood up abruptly and saw Yibo smiling at him. He picked the bags and started running towards his house cursing himself mentally for sleeping in public.
He didn't understand why Yibo was stalking him or helping him. 'Is it his new trick to catch me in his spiderweb?' He thought but he was also helped cause the way he was sleeping on the park bench someone could have easily robbed him.
"Zhan, you are back?" His mother asked him from the kitchen. "Yeah, mom." He said boringly. "Zhan, what do you think about me and your uncle getting married. " his mother asked him with hesitation. "Wow that would be awesome, mom I'm so happy for you. " Zhan said with enthusiasm and hugged his mother. "I thought you'd hate me. " his mother said wiping her tears. "Why would I, you are my everything." Zhan said kissing her forehead. " ok now get freshen up, dinner is almost ready. " her mother said smilingly. "And don't forget to turn on the heater!!" "Okay!!!" Zhan reached his room and was extremely happy for his mother. Even if he would get caught by the police and go jail, his mother would not be alone.
Next day evening
Zhan POV
I'm getting ready for a movie date with my girlfriend today. It's pretty chilly. I arrived at the place at 8:25. The movie would start at 9. I was waiting outside the mall for her.

I waited for her for half an hour but she still didn't show up. The cold was killing me and cold winds were making the situation much worse. I went to buy two cups of hot chocolate and looked at my watch the time was 9:03. I started to get panicked. I called her many times but her phone was switched off. Then I called her mother and she picked up, "Hello aunty, I'm zhan, where is Xiaobing? " "Oh... well, I'm glad she finally left you. You poor guy doesn't deserve her and for your kind information she is on the date so please leave her alone." "W-wha--" "tut tut tut" she hung up??
I was feeling mixed emotions angry, upset, betrayed and hatred. I just fell on my knees not knowing what to do. Then I felt someone's hand caressing my back, I thought it was Xiaobing. Her mother was lying. Why'd she cheated on me? I turned back and saw Yibo again. Why did he always follow me and see me crying?

"Zhan are you alright? " Yibo asked softly. "I'm fine," I said not in the mood to fight with him. "Let me walk you back home." " No need," I said and started walking back to my home. I sat on the bench for few minutes and started to walk again. But then I felt like someone was following me and I knew who it was, " I told you already I don't need your help!!!" I let out my whole anger but then realised that it wasn't Yibo. Two dudes were standing
"Where u off too?" One of the men said grabbing my hand. "Leave me you fucking paedophiles!!!" As one of them was about to slap me someone grabbed his arm and cracked it.

Then we fought with them and soon they left us.
"Thank you," I said to Yibo, grateful for him.
"No need, look your lip is cut." He said touching the side of my lips and hurriedly covered that with my hands. "It's okay." "No, it's not, come I'll help you." I thought for a moment if I would go to my house in this state mom will surely get worried right?? "Okay." He led me to his house, it was big. We entered the house but there was no one. "You live alone?" I asked and he just nodded. He was looking sad. We sat on the couch and then he bought a first aid kit. He put some disinfectant on the cotton and tapped it on my lip from which I hissed. He then blew it lightly. Our lips were just centimetres apart. I backed away immediately as my face became red. "Are you alright your face is red?" Yibo asked and I changed the topic. "You were following me again?" "No, I swear, when I was walking back I saw Xiaobing was talking with someone in a dark alley and I recorded it and I was going to show you that but then you know." I was feeling too angry at that time when he showed me the video she was saying that we had broken up and she doesn't.
I didn't notice when tears started falling from my eyes.
"Don't cry Zhan, people like Xiaobing aren't worthy to cry over, you deserve much better," Yibo said caressing my back.
Yes, he was right but the pain she gave was worth her death.
