OMNISCIENT POV
Zhan opened his eyes slightly with an extremely heavy head just to find himself on a bed with his one leg tied to it but there was something strange about the whole atmosphere,
It wasn't Yibo's room...
When he got sobered enough to notice his surrounding his eyes grew bigger, heart started palpitating like a racing car, tired expression quickly replaced by frowned and terrified one.
He was locked in a big steel round cage.
'No, no Yibo ca-can't do this to me!' He thought reaching for the bars.
"Yibo!!!" He yelled with all his remaining energy, clutching the bars hard but no one came. He then started yelling and kicking constantly but all went in vain. When he lost his energy his knees grew weak and he fell on the cold floor with watery eyes open. He saw around him, the cage was quite big just like a small room but instead of walls it was steel bars and he was being locked in. He laid on the floor still, like a lifeless body waiting for his limbs to go numb till he couldn't feel anything...
But soon he heard some noises.
"Zhan baby...?" Yibo said softly while reaching towards the cage which was placed in a quite big room. Zhan got more scared and shot his eyes closed tightly afraid of next second, laying on the floor back facing Yibo.
"I heard some noises. You awake?" Yibo said standing close to the cage.
Zhan didn't utter a word, even afraid of breathing but his shivering body wasn't helping at all.
"Baby...I know you are awake." Yibo said quietly with a spine chilling smile. The room was filled with eerie silence.
"....." no response.
"Hello...., yes....., that pregnant woman!.....Make sure to k-" Yibo acted like he was talking on the phone but when Zhan heard 'pregnant women' his mind immediately wandered off to his mother and he immediately shot his eyes open.
"No! Plea- " He said while reaching for the bars but soon he realized that Yibo wasn't talking on the phone; it was his trick to trap him.
"Got you baby." Yibo said with an amusing smirk.
"Why did you lock me up?!" Zhan yelled angrily. "...why? I'm..I'm not an animal. Yibo please don't do this to me....You don't love me.." He said with cracking voice and pathetic tone.
"Ssshhhhh..." Yibo shushed him putting a finger on his lips. Zhan quickly turned his face to other side, even hating his touch now.
"Can you hear this?" Yibo asked to him but he just frowned, still thinking about how could he get out of there.
"The sound of ocean waves." Yibo singsang; lithe hand movements with content tone.
"Ocean wa-waves?" Zhan asked with hesitant tone as he turned his face towards Yibo. He could really heard the sound of waves outside.
"We are sailing in the middle of an ocean. Networks don't work in here even if you want." Yibo said with an amusing chuckle, covering his mouth slightly.
After few minutes Zhan speak up in total shock,
"....this is not how I-...this is NOT HOW I WANTED MY LIFE! NEVER." Zhan said while breaking in front of him inbetween his erratic sobbing, choking on his own words.
"Isn't it a boon, even if we die, we'll die together. Once we'll become a part of nature we'll be inseparable." He said in his deep voice with maniac smile playing on his lips.
He went near Zhan and whispered "Forever".
"No you-you can't d-do this Yibo.....please please free me...did I do something bad to you..." Zhan said losing his sanity completely, clutching onto his head hard.
"Baby Zhan...don't cry, I hate seeing tears on your face." Yibo said with a sad tone, wiping Zhan's tears off from the gaps between bars.
"Don't, just...don't." Zhan said while backing away from the bars, eyes fixed on the floor as if he had enough of him.
"Zhan baby come on I was joking, we aren't sailing." Yibo said with a chuckle.
"T-then what about these fucking sounds?!" Zhan shouted, losing his temper.
"Oh that! We're in a deserted village near a coast." Yibo said as a matter of fact.
"See." He said while picking up the groceries in white plastic bags.
"There's a shop but it's few kilometers away, I just fetched these groceries on my horse, god it was too tiring. And networks are still a major problem in here." Yibo said while going out of the room.
Zhan was silent the whole time, like he was absorbing the information Yibo's been throwing at him like they were too obvious.
'Is this how his life was going to end....' he thought.
