"Uh, who will I stay with?" Alex asked as Dorian was getting up.

"Well, Alyssa Chang is still... occupied. How about with Hope?"

Alex had a shy smile on her face, "Both of you, know each other and are the only two of your.... situation."

"We don't really get along when we're all alone," Alex had said looking at Hope's face. "It's a good thing that here there is more people than just Hope to talk to."

Accepting what had happened, Alex walked to her new room with Hope. When they got there Alex started unpacking her stuff.

"What's that?" Hope asked as Alex pulled a picture frame out of her bag.

"It's a picture from last Christmas."

Alex handed the frame to Hope, "You guys get matching outfits?"

Alex laughed, "Yeah, Dad isn't to keen on it but, he does it for Mom."

Hope didn't know how Alex did it. Pretended, Damon and Elena were her real parents.

"Do you ever think about what it would have been like to grow up with your family?"

Alex was confused until she realized Hope was talking about her biological family.

"I use to. All the time, but then I figured out that I was lucky I had a family who cared for me so much. Why do you?"

Hope thought, "What do you mean?"

"Hope, I know you didn't have your dad around you growing up."

Hope sighed, "Yeah. I do."

Hope handed Alex back the picture, "You'll see him again. One day."

The Next Day

Dear diary,

Yesterday when I got here, I thought this place would feel like home. But even after decorating it still feels strange, maybe it's because I'm not waking up to the sound of Stefan calling me some stupid nickname. Also, something weird is happening here. I can't find Uncle Ric anywhere, but today I do my test on how I will be able to control myself around the other students. We'll see how that goes.

Alex

Alex put her journal and pen back in the desk drawer and walked to the bathroom, she got in the shower and turned on the water. She ran her fingers through her hair, and closed her es. The minute a drop hit her face she started seeing flashes of memories of some things that happened when she was little. The screams, the blood, the tears, and the crying of a young girl.

Her.

The minute she opened her eyes it all stopped. She finished her shower and then straightend her hair. When she walked out Hope was gone. So, she walked down to find Dorian but, when she walked into his office, no one was there so she went to Landon's room and found all of them arguing.

"What's wrong?" Alex asked. Everyone was looking at her suprised.

"Can we trust her?" Landon asked looking at Hope.

"Yes! Alex has known us for a long time," Hope replied.

"So, is anyone going to tell me what's going on?"

"We kind of lied before. Ric and the twins are stuck in a prison world and I'm trying to astroproject myself into it," Hope explained.

Alex thought she was crazy, "No! Hope that's way too dangerous! Let me do it! Technically I'm not dead or alive. I'll be able to get in and out without a problem," Alex was already willing to help.

"Let her Hope." Landon touched her arm "I can't risk losing you," he whispered softly.

Everyone agreed to have Alex go in. "I'm going to need Chicken blood, salt, six candles, wolfsbane, and a bottle of Vodka," Alex said making markings on the floor.

"Vodka? For the spell?" Landon looked confused.

"No, that's just to make me feel better about my life decisions," Alex sighed.

Landon walked out of the room to get the supplies, when he came back he had everything she asked for the spell. Even the Vodka.

"Detrahet me in carcerem, ubi  mundo sunt." Alex repeated those words until she stood dazed, looking at a dark Jo

"Josie," Alex yelled happily.

"Alex? What are you doing here?"

"Let me help get you out!" Alex yelled.

"I can get us out we will be back soon. Get back to the school just incase we need your help."

Josie was emotionless and different.

"Okay, Jos are you feeling good? Alex walked over to her.

"Alex get back to the school," Josie replied turning around and walking away.

Alex tried to run up to her, but her head started pounding. Alex fell to the ground in pain. Her vision went black, she woke up in the circle.

"Something's happened with Josie!" She yelled as she woke up.

"What do you mean?" Hope said eagerly.

"She's different," they all looked worried.

Alex's heart started beating faster, she felt like she couldn't breathe, images danced in her head.

"I need fresh air," She ran out of the room and down the stairs. She walked out the front door and sat down.

No longer than ten minutes later a man walked up to her, "Hello, I'm Joshua! An old friend of Alaric's. He said whenever I'm in town I could stop by and stay awhile."

Alex could sense something was wrong, "Let me go get Mr.Saltzman." Alex got up and ran into the house and up to her new room. She opened her drawer and pulled out one of her journals and turned to a numbered page.

It read;"Dear Alex, I love you so much and want to be safe so me and your father made a list of people to watch out for. People who might want to get back at us  but most likely they want to get back at your dad. Love you, Mom." Alex read down the list.

"Kai Parker!" She whispered. Damnit
