A Hood And A Bow

Alex woke up wearing an Alice In Wonderland outfit, her hair had turned blonde, and she had her necklace back. Alex played with the bow on her head, "What the hell?"

No sooner than she woke up, so did Hope, wearing a Little Red Riding Hood costume, "Well, this is unexpected."

Hope played with her brown hair, "Josie? Your subconscious is weirding me out." Hope noticed Alex's outfit, "Okay that's weirding me out."

"Haha. Very funny, Little Red Riding Wolf."

"Look." Hope said, pointing towards bread crumbs going out of the door, "Literal bread crumbs."

"Subtle."

Alex and Hope followed the trail all the way to the forest. Alex kept messing with the apron on her dress, "Josie's subconscious is weird."

"Tell me about it."

There was rustling in the bushes, "Wait. It's okay. You don't have to run." Hope waved her hand over the other saying a spell, "Post tenebras spero lucem."

Alex shielded her eyes from the bright light that appeared in Hope's hands.

"You don't have to hide, either. We're not gonna hurt you."

"Speak for yourself," Alex sneered.

A pig popped out from behind the bushes, "Would you shut your piehole, lady?
And put out that light, before you get us all killed."

Alex had a big smile on her face and let out a big laugh, "I like this pig!"

Dear Journal,

Today I go to Mystic Falls, Virginia. Mom and Dad are sending me to The Salvatore School For The Young And Gifted. It may sound like a prep school for rich kids but it's not. The Salvatore School was for kids that are supernatural like me. Before I go to the school though, I decided I want to walk around town a bit just to get a bite to eat and make my doctors appointment.

Luke

Lucas walked around Mystic Fall looking for the doctors office, he had made an appointment for a check-up and to meet the doctor. Sure he was probably going to have a school nurse but, it still couldn't hurt.

He saw the big window and walked in and sat down.

"Lucas Mark?" The doctor called.

He walked back to the room with her and took a seat, "Hi Lucas, I'm Dr. Elena Salvatore. Are you new in town."

He nodded, "Yeah I'm here for school." Soon Lucas realized that her last name was the same as the name of the school. "Hey, I'm sorry if I'm asking too much but, are you related to the people who own that school?"

Elena chuckled, "My husband's best friend owns the school. It was named after my husband's brother."

Luke nodded, "So your husband's brother he's...?"

Elena continued her exam as she answered his questions, "Dead."

"Oh."

"Yeah, he was a really brave man."

When Elena was finished she only had one more question for him. "What are you?"

His eyes widened, "I have no clue what you mean."

"Come on Lucas, my daughter goes there."

He stayed silent, " I guess I'll figure it out."

Elena examined him closely, "You're not a vampire, I know that."
