Chaeyoung's POV
The school day is almost over and I haven't even seen Mina once at all today. I told Sana unnie I would wait for her to come to me but it's way harder than it seemed.
Now that she's in my life again, there isn't a moment I want to spend without her. I know it's unrealistic, but it's how I feel.
It hurts knowing she's close but I can't do anything about it.
I feel almost the same as I did the day I made my wish.
I shake my head, trying to get the negative thoughts to away, I can't let a little bump in the road get to me.
I walk into my art class and take a seat at one of the work tables. While I'm waiting for the teacher to arrive, I flip open my sketchbook to continue a sketch I've been working on.
"That's really good."
I jump a little at the unexpected voice. I turn around to see the new girl looking at my sketch.
"Oh uh, thanks." I say awkwardly, closing my book up.
I didn't want anyone to see that..
"I wish I could draw like that, guess that's why I wanted to take this class." She chuckles and sits down beside me.
I raise an eyebrow, interested to know if she likes art as well.
"You like to draw?" I ask.
She hums and nods her head.
"I like it because it takes my mind off things." She shrugs.
"I get it, same with me." I agree.
She starts to draw in her book so I go back to doing the same.
After Class..
"So Chaeyoung-sshi, we still going to your house to work on our project?" The silver haired girl asks as we walk out of the art room.
"Yeah, and please drop the formalities, just Chaeyoung or Chaeng is fine." I say with a small smile.
"Okay, cool. Same goes for you too, just Yoohyeon is fine. I don't really have a nickname, no one's ever given me one.." She laughs, but there's that little hint of pain is back in her eyes, reminding me of myself once again.
She's so nice, I wonder why she's in pain..
"How about Yoo? Or Hyeon? Maybe YooHyo?.." I tease a little, trying to lighten her mood.
I think it works because the look is gone and she genuinely laughs.
"I like the first two, I don't know about that last one though." We both start laughing until she suddenly trips, I hurriedly wrap my arms around her waist to prevent her from falling.
"Whoa! You alright?" I ask, worriedly.
She wobbles a little while trying to regain her balance so I continue to hold onto her for support.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I can be a little clumsy. Thanks for saving me, miss artist." She tries to laugh it off but I can see right through the act. There's bags under her eyes, she's shaking, and she's starting to become very pale.
I put my hand on her forehead, ignoring her confused look.
She's burning up.
"Come on Yoo, you have a fever, let's get you to your house so you can res-"
"No! I mean.. no, it's okay, I'm fine." She cuts me off, looking at me with a completely exhausted but pleading look.
There's something going on here, I'm really worried now..
