It's five years after High School Musical was put on at East High. Nini decided to go to the music conservatory. Now, she's making it big in the acting industry. What will happen when Ricky, now singer/songwriter, and Nini reconnect?
I had a great time hanging out with Nini. I'm not a love expert or anything, but to me, she doesn't seem completely over EJ. Or maybe she just never gave herself time to move on five years ago.
Anyway, I definitely want to hang out with her more.
Not very long after we got coffee, I was given an opportunity to do just that. I was contacted with two tickets to a singer, Ricky Bowen's concert. He doesn't seem too famous, but his songs are pretty good. He kinda reminds me of someone who went to East High.

Nini's POV:
Well, crap. How can I get out of this? I guess Carter doesn't remember Ricky from school. To be honest, he wasn't really friends with many underclassmen.
After thinking it over, I realized that I I needed to stop allowing my past with Ricky to control what I do. I'm just gonna go with Carter, not run into Ricky, and have a good time. But I'm still gonna run it by Kourtney first the next time we talk.

Gina's POV:
It's only one week until Ricky's first show of tour. I'm only going to attend a few of the more local ones, because I can't have people cover that many dance classes for me. Ricky's currently finalizing how he wants everything to look on stage. Of course, I helped choreograph the dances.
After finishing up an episode of The Office, I found myself on the couch scrolling through Instagram. Ricky had just posted about his tour.

You've got to be kidding me. Nini. Nini from East High. She's gonna be there?! There's no way I'm letting him go without me.
When Ricky got home, I decided it was best to go ahead and get it planned. I don't expect him to see the comment, so I'm not worried about him finding out about my ulterior motive.
"Hey, baby." I said, patting on the couch. "Hi, babe." He replies as he sits down and puts an arm around my shoulder.
"So, I have an idea." I start off. "Shoot." He replies. "I wanna go to some of the shows in Canada with you. Specifically British Columbia."
"Okay....I'm totally cool with that, but you seemed like you just wanted to go to the local ones when I asked a few weeks ago." "Well, I saw some photos of BC on Instagram and I fell in love. Why not go with you, now?" I reply. "I mean, sure. Book a flight. It'll be fun." He replies, kissing me on the cheek. I smile.
