~Your POV~

I walk into my favorite coffee shop. I walk up to the front and wait in line, patiently waiting for my turn.

"Next please." His smooth voice calls out. I step up and he smiles at me. "Good morning, what can I get for you today?"

"I'll just have one medium sized ice coffee." I told him.

"Name please?"

"(Y/n)." I answered. He nodded and told me the total. I paid and sat down to wait for my name to be called.

"Coffee for (y/n)." He called. I turned off my phone and went up to the front. I thanked him as I got my coffee.

As I walked out of the coffee shop, I looked down at the name written on my cup.

Instead of (y/n), he wrote 'you're beautiful.'

I glanced back at him and smiled. He smiled and went back to work.

I've been going to the same coffee shop for almost a week and each time it's the same boy.

"Hey." He greeted me. "I'm guessing you're having the usual?"

"Yeah." I answered, letting out a breathy laugh. "The usual."

"Coming right up." He smiled and went on to making it.

I sat down and waited for him to finish. After a few minutes, he called out my name. I walked toward him and took my cup.

"Thank you." I said and smiled.

"It's not a problem." He smiled. I waved him goodbye and walked out of the shop.

I looked at the cup to see what he wrote this time. Usually he would write a complement.

But this time he wrote a 'You're stunning' along with a phone number.

I looked at him over my shoulder to see him taking another costumers order. The costumer walked away and he caught me looking at him, making me look away, a light blush on my cheeks.

Later that night, I decided to text the number he wrote. Is this a bad idea? Probably. Could this guy track me down and kill me? Maybe.

But I took the chance and sent the number a text. Two minutes later, I got a reply.

Unknown: hey (y/n)! It's (c/n), that guy that's working at the coffee shop you go to.

Me: oh hey! What's up with you?

We texted each other back and forth for almost an hour. It turns out we have a lot in common.

(C/n): I was wondering if you wanted to hangout together sometime? I wanna get to know you better.

Me: I'm down. When?

Two days later, I was waiting for him at the park. I nervously played with the hem of my sweater.

"Hey." A low, male voice said. I look up to see (c/n).

"Hey." I greeted back with a smile. "Come sit down." I moved a little to give him room on the bench. He sat down.

For a few minutes we sat in silence. It was kinda awkward. I eventually decided to say something.

"Why did you give me your number? You barely even know me."

"There's something about you." He answered. "I don't know what, but it's like I wanna get to know you personally." He paused. "D-Do you not want the same?"

"I'm also curious, I guess." I answered truthfully. "Do you really think I'm pretty?"

"Well, duh, who wouldn't?"

We started talking about anything that came to mind. It was less awkward after that.

"What's your favorite band?" He asked me. I thought about it before answering.

"(Favorite band)." I answered.

"No way." He said in disbelief. "I like them too! Their songs are amazing."

"Really? What about your favorite movie?"

"(Favorite movie)." He answered. "It's so good."

"I know, right?" I chuckled. "We have a lot more in common than I thought."

I like this dude.

Months and months passed by. (C/n) and I have gotten closer and hangout a lot.

"(Y/n)." He said when I walked up to the register. "Back again? I'm assuming you're having the usual?"

"You know me." I smiled. "I can't wait to see what you write on the cup this time." I chuckled and got the same reaction from him.

A few minutes later, he called my name. I took the coffee from him and said thank you before walking off.

I looked at what he wrote and got the shock of my life. Instead of a complement, I got a question.

'Will you go on a date with me?'

I smiled and took out my phone and texted him.

Me: I would love to go on a date with you :)

He picked me up from my place. He held open the car door and let me in. I smiled and thanked him to receive a smile back.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"Ever been ice skating?" He asked. I shook my head. "That's exactly what we are doing."

"I've always wanted to try!" I said happily. "I'm excited."

He drive to the ice skating rink. When I hopped out of the car, I ran straight to the register to get a pair of skates.

"Relax, (y/n)." He told me, placing his hand on the small of my back. "The night is young."

We got our ice skates and went inside the rink. I grasped the railings and started moving. I let go only to slip.

I waited for my body to hit the floor but it never came. I only felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist, keeping me from falling.

"(C-C/n)." I stuttered. He hummed in response. "I'm sorry." I apologized.

"Don't be. You'll get the hang of it." He said and helped me up. "Just hold onto me and I'll teach you. I tried this before."

After ice skating, we went to a restaurant for dinner. We ended up ordering the same thing. We talked and enjoyed the night.

He drove me back to my place, stepping out of the car with me. He followed me to my door.

"Thank you for tonight." He told me. "You could've rejected me and went on with your life, but you said yes and gave me some of your spare time."

"I loved spending time with you, (c/n)." I answered.

"You know what? I'm just gonna say it." He took a deep breath. "I like you, (y/n)."

"W-What?" I stuttered.

"I like you, (y/n). I think you are amazing. You are beautiful inside and out, I wanted to spend more time with you and I guess that's why I took you out." He explained. "I wanted to spend time with you even if you don't like me back. If you don't, then that's okay. It was worth a shot."

"I-I like you too." I told him nervously. I saw the biggest smile spread across his face. "And if you were wondering, I wouldn't mind being your girlfriend."
