~(c/n)'s POV~
"Good morning, sir." A girl with (y/h/c) hair greeted.
Didn't I see this girl before?
"You must be (y/n) (l/n)?" I asked.
"Yes." She answered.
"Take a seat." I told her. She sat down on one of the two seats in front of me. "I'm (c/n) (c/l/n). Your boss and owner of this company."
"(C/n)? Don't I know you from somewhere?" She asked.
"No. Well, not until now." I answered, almost hesitantly.
"We used to be friends."
"I don't remember being friends with a (y/n) (l/n). I must be the wrong (c/n)." I said.
"Yes. Sorry." She answered.

I went home that night thinking about (y/n).
She looked so familiar, though.
(Y/h/c) hair, (y/e/c) eyes.
It was all too familiar.
I watched a bit of television. I didn't really pay attention since my mind was elsewhere.
Weren't we best friends five years ago?
She probably just looked like her. I haven't heared from her in years. For her to just show up out of the blue would be a surprise.
What if it really was her?

~Your POV~
I looked at the necklace he gave me five years ago.
"Keep this." He told me, putting the necklace in my hand. "Don't lose it. It's a promise that we will see each other again and that I'll never forget you."
See each other again? Yeah.
I'll never forget you? Probably not.
I should've told you I loved you when you still remembered me.
I guess promises were made to be broken after all.

A year later.
"(Y/n)." (C/n) said. "I remember now."
"Remember what?" I asked.
"Do you have a necklace with a seashell pendant?" He asked.
"Yes." I answered.
"I'm sorry I forgot about you. I'm so sorry." He said. "I never got that chance to tell you I love you. But it's too late now."
"What if I tell you that I love you too?"
"What?"
"I love you, (c/n). I always have." I said.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.
"Why not?" I asked, kissing him on the lips. I pulled back only to have his lips back on mine.
"I love you." He said in the kiss.
"I love you too." I told him.

~(c/n) POV~
Five years later.
(Y/n) and I were going to a carnival. We played a few games and went on some of the rides.
"I'm hungry." She told me.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"I don't know." She said. "Oh look! Popcorn!"
"Okay." I said chuckling lightly at her childish attitude.
We got some popcorn and found a bench to sit on for awhile.
"Can I ask you a question?" I said.
"What is it?" She asked.
"(Y/n). I've been wanting to ask you this for awhile." I said reaching into my back pocket. I stood up and got down on one knee. "I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore. I want to be your husband. Will you marry me, (y/n)?"
"Oh my gosh." She said in shock. "Yes!" I slid the ring on her finger.
I stood up. She wrapped her arms around my neck. That's when I heared her soft cries.
"What's wrong?" I asked her.
"I'm so happy!" She yelled. Burying her face in my shoulder. "I love you."
"I love you too." I said.
The small crowd watching us began clapping.
I have her for as long as I live now.
No one else can ever have her.
