The atmosphere around the house was off for the next couple days while Leo was away you could tell Regina was worried about her oldest son, having likely gone through this plenty of times with her husband it must have been even worse having her son in danger.
Violet, on the other hand, was pissed, it seemed Leo was keeping in contact with her because every dinner table when the four of us women came down Regina would ask her if she had heard from Leo and Violet would give a short response of him being fine and still not knowing when he would be back.
Bella was trying to keep everyone happy, pulling me aside to ask if we could move the day we tried wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses forward in hopes of making Violet happier. To be fair I wasted no time in agreeing and arranging it for day three, getting designers to agree to chuck a bunch of dresses that where in Violets size and colour scheme together was harder than the base thought.
But here I was in a room full of racks of dresses as Roberto and I set Violets living room up for all the ladies, somehow last-minute Regina had asked over dinner yesterday if I could arrange some mother of the groom outfits to come with the dresses. Trying to keep everyone happy I had agreed and Violet jumped in asking for a few in her mother's size.
Right now the two mothers and the other bridesmaids were all in the kitchen having breakfast, Bella had arranged to make a full day out of it in hopes of keeping the peace that was barely holding on, I had even written into the base that I was worried this wedding wasn't going to go ahead at this rate with the way Violet was acting every time Leo's name got brought up.
"Okay I think that's everything if you could send everyone in I'll get us started and if you could bring some champagne glasses and wine in a few minutes that would be great and when the team from the spa get here your setting them up in the second lounge-like Bella wanted." I just wanted to get through today without Violet blowing up.
There was a whole wall full of white puffy wedding dresses then another wall of neutral coloured bridesmaid dressed and finally the mother of the bride and groom outfits.
Elena, Gia, Sienna and Caro enter the room all making high pitched squealing, I had met them as they arrived this morning everyone was wearing some expensive-looking outfit and jewellery to match. I watch them now as they rush over to the bridesmaid dresses and start pulling out the ones that take their interest while Bella walks with Violet over to the bride's dresses.
The two mothers come strolling in and take a seat on the sofa, I look around debating if they were waiting for the younger girls to be done looking through their racks first or they wanted me to take care of them.
Deciding it was best to let the younger women look through the dresses before I go and help out I stick with the mothers.
"Do either of you know what kind of dresses you were looking for?" I ask going to stand by them.
"I was thinking of sticking with the neutral colours as Violet has with the bridesmaids." Violets mother says and I head over to the rack grabbing a few I knew would be in her size, having four I head back over and hold up the first one. Out of the ones I had picked she wanted to try two on and I sent her off towards the room we had set up for everyone to change into.
Regina ends up getting up to join Bella and Violet as they were picking out a few dresses, I don't even have to go over there to know Regina was pulling out dresses Violet had already put away. Quickly heading over that way I try and defuse the situation.
