Private Business.

Chapter 3.

The kitchen was full of staff some cleaning up while others laid more fresh food as if there wasn't already enough set up in a buffet-style along the counter, Bella walks right over grabbing a bowl and a plate and moving along picking up whatever takes her fancy as she goes along.

I follow along watching as two members off staff come in through an open arch leading to a sunroom paying close enough attention I see it has a table set up with a few people around it likely the rest of the Cavazos family.

"Take whatever you like you can always come back for more, just so you know it's not always like this mother only does it when we have guests its to impress you tomorrow morning you will have to put in an order like the rest of us." I laugh deciding to go for a bowl of fruit and some fresh juice once I get to the end.

"Morning." Bella cheeringly says as she enters the sunroom, grabbing my glass I follow after her to see her kiss the top of the head of an older woman before taking the seat next to hers.

"This is Maddie." She says nodding her head in my direction.

"So this is everyone, you've got my mother Regina and the happy couple Leo my brother and my very soon to be sister in law Violetta." Violetta smiles widely at me probably excited that my being here meaning she will be planning her wedding.

I do a quick scan of the table Regina the mother who looks great for someone in their early fifties if she's had work done it was barely noticeable. From what I had read about her she had met Lorenzo while she was still young originally had nothing to do with the mafia world until she met him, then very quickly become involved.

Married within the year and pregnant a few short months later, although it was likely expected by Lorenzo's family that she would give them an heir to the family business. It would also be expected from Violetta preferably a son if anything I'm shocked Regina only had three children normally these families have lots of children Lorenzo was one of six.

"Pleasure to meet you all, Mrs Cavazos." I reach my hand out for her to shake and she takes it a friendly smile greeting me.

"Thank you for coming out on such short notice, I've been told your one of their best." Mrs Cavazos gestures towards the other empty chair on her other side and we both sit down the couple opposite us.

"That's very kind of them to say, truly the pleasure is all mine it's not every day I get to come to Italy for work and I've got to say your home is amazing. I read in the notes you where planning on having the wedding here?" I look over at the couple waiting to see who was going to take the lead in this.

They were a very private family so them having the wedding at the house was expected, it was their turf they would feel safest here compared to somewhere they don't know the staff or the layout.

"That's the plan, we were thinking we could use downstairs there is a side gate from the front garden leading to the garden out of this window and just over there, are some stairs going to the bottom level." Regina takes the lead gaining my attention as she points out the window.

"We can give you a tour after we're done here if that's easier," Violetta adds.

"That would be helpful that way I know the space and I can picture what we can do with it." Not to mention I needed to tour the place at some point. "Other than that let's talk size, have you got a guest list in mind? How large is the wedding party going to be bridesmaids and groomsmen."
