(At the apartment)

Hlobi is getting ready to go and meet up with Ryan, after the text she got from him she decided to go and hear what he has to say. To say she was not anxious will be an understatement, she knew that he didn't approve of the trip but she decided to gave him a benefit of the doubt.

MaShenge: Going somewhere?
Hlobi: Yes I am going to meet up with a friend, I will be back in about an hour or two
MaShenge: Okay my daughter, take care we wouldn't want what happend to Zandile to also happen to you

Before She could answer her mother started breathing so heavy

Hlobi: mom what's wrong? Talk to me
MaShenge: I am okay nana I just had this sharp pain in my chest, the only time I feel like this something wrong is about to happened. Nana are you sure you will be happy were you are going?
Hlobi: I will be mama and besides things have been a bit intense lately that can explain the sudden feeling you having
MaShenge: if you say so. Come let's pray before you leave, I'll be at peace knowing that we prayed

They both kneeled and pray, MaShenge knew that whenever she has the sharp pain in her heart something bad is about to happen but this time she didn't know what exactly is that thing. Stoping Hlobi from going was not an option, she didn't want to appear like a bad mother so she had to put her trust on God's hands.

(At Manqoba's house)

Since the talk he had with Scelo he has been making sure that Nomtha is not suspecting anything. He walked to the kitchen finding Nomtha preparing lunch

Nomtha: will you be home for lunch or I am making lunch for myself only?
Manqoba: I will be here so count me in MaGatsheni
Nomtha:I miss hearing you calling me that
Manqoba:(sighed) It's been a little hard lately though I'm happy that we're fine
Nomtha:Yeah,I miss this...us
Manqoba:Me too Mfazi(wife)

He stood beside her and took a deep breathe before saying anything, he wanted to shout at her and ask her how could she? But he remembered that she will start accusing him of playing the part in her actions

Nomtha: Yesterday we never got a chance to talk, you didn't let me know what happened with Hlobi at Jhb
Manqoba: Sorry about that I was still feeling tired and figured we will talk today
Nomtha: How is she?
Manqoba: (Aggressive) What do you think?

Nomtha stepped back and cover her mouth with her hands

Manqoba: I am sorry babe, please forgive me. The pain is still raw and she is not taking any of this well but the mini vacation we took did her well
Nomtha: You went on a vacation with her?
Manqoba: I did, she needed that more than me. And you, how was everything here while I was gone?

Nomtha widen her eyes wondering if that was a trick question or not, she debated with herself to confess or just keep on with the lie until himself confronted her

Nomtha: I was fine, Mpume kept me busy so don't feel guilty about leaving your poor wife alone
Manqoba: (Chuckled) poor wife? Well poor wife dont worry things will change very soon
Nomtha: I am even scared to ask why you say that with so much confidence

Manqoba grabbed a glass of water and head to the couch leaving Nomtha standing. She didn't know what to do or say, Manqoba has always been hard to read and she knew very well that if he is angry not even Lord will stop him

Manqoba: my mom will be coming in few days, I invited her over
Nomtha: ( with shocked face) it is always nice to have my mother in law around

A knock came in the door, it was Scelo and Mpume. Nomtha face changed quickly while Manqoba kept on smiling
