Chapter 4

I woke up and realized that I had no blankets on, so I grabbed them and flung them over me again. I'm one of those people who always kick off their blankets, it's actually kind of annoying. You wake up and you're freezing cold and then you wonder why you kicked them off in the first place.

After laying in my bed for a while without falling back asleep I decided to just get up. I reached for my phone and it said that it was 10:27, normally after a party I sleep much later than that. I guess I didn't drink that much last night because of how annoyed I was with Taylor and Luke.

Speaking of Taylor she left me numerous texts and even called a couple of times. God the nerve of her. The messages all pretty much went like 'Cassie why'd you leave?' or 'you good right? Like you're safe?' and also 'you aren't mad at me right?'.  I mean she only completely ditched me for some random hook up. What? Why would I be mad?

After a while of contemplating I finally texted her back.

"Ya I'm fine no thanks to you tho. It was nice of you to ditch me btw" I sent her.

"Listen I didn't mean to! I was drunk and I didn't think you'd actually leave. Can we talk about this? Come to my house babe" She sent back almost automatically.

I rolled my eyes and threw my phone on my bed, and started to get ready for the day. Wiggling into my tight dark blue skinny jeans. I don't even know why I wear such skinny pants they're so uncomfortable. I guess they just look nice. I put on a Hollister hoodie I found laying on the floor of my room. When I looked in the mirror I put my hair into a messy bun and put a little amount of makeup on. I don't really care about impressing Taylor.

I left my room and walked into Jakes, he was laying in his bed on his phone.

"Good morning Cass!" He practically yelled. Jake is such a morning person that it bothers me, like how can a person be in such a good mood  when waking up? Even when we have school and have to wake up at like 5:30 or 6 he's still as cheery as ever.

"Hey Jake. Can you do me a favour and drive me to Taylor's?" I ask. "Better yet can you give me the keys to your car I can take myself so you don't have to worry."

"Yeah sure. Why are you going to her house I thought you were mad at her for leaving you stranded? I'd be pissed at her. And way to take all of your anger out on Luke by the way, real nice of you. He was doing you a favor by taking you home he could've stayed there." Jake lectured.

Almost as if on que Luke walked into the room.

"Yeah I could've stayed way to be a cock block, Cassie." Luke said without taking his eyes off of me.

"Is that so? Well I'm deeply sorry it won't happen again, Luke." I said sarcastically. "Oh and about Taylor, that's why I'm going to her house to chat about last night. Sure I'm mad but I have to forgive her sometime so why not now eh?" I threw my arms up.

"You forgive people too easily." Jake said almost rudely.

"No I don't! Whatever I'm leaving bye Jake." I answered leaving the room.

"I guess I don't get a goodbye?" Luke asked. His dumb comment made me snicker, of course he doesn't get a goodbye. I don't like him, hell I don't really even know him.

I walked down the stairs and headed for the car. Walking outside it was freezing and rainy out. I love days like this, they are so relaxing.

I got into the car and plugged in my phone to the stereo, then I played some All TIme Low. 'Remembering Sunday' to be exact. I love this song it's even better on a day like this. I left the driveway and started my way to Taylor's.
