"Cassie wake up. I've made breakfast and if you don't come quick it'll become cold!" My mother said standing and the edge of my bed.
"What time is it?" I asked stretching my legs out.
"Umm. It's 11:30, you don't need to sleep in all day so get up and come downstairs." She then walked out of my room leaving the door wide open.
"Seriously? Is it that hard to shut the god damn door?" I say to myself as I slowly climb out of my warm bed and walk downstairs.
Sitting at the table as usual was Jake. Instead of saying hi he just looked at me and continued to eat. That was weird he always says hi.
"Hey Jake, how's it going?" I said slowly looking at him.
"Well, and you?" He said in a annoyed tone.
"Yeah, um well." I just looked at my plate. My mom made waffles with blueberries and some bacon. It looked pretty good.
"So how is school going?" My mom asks trying to kill the awkwardness. Both of us gave her half answers. She continued to ask us the same questions she asks us every Sunday. Our answers never changed and I don't know why she even bothers anymore.
We always eat Sunday breakfast together and sometimes Sunday dinner. My mom is normally only home on Sundays and she thinks that we want to spend it with her. When in reality we don't really care if she is here or at work at this point. I know that sounds rude and all but after a while of barley ever seeing her you kind of get used to it, and when she is here it's...weird. I do love my mother and all but that's just the way it is, for both Jake and me.
When I was younger I used to kind of wish she was home though. So we could go out and get manicures and talk about boys and such like some people do with their moms. But that won't happen so I don't even wish it anymore. Especially now that I can drive now I can go out on my own and meet up with people.
While being lost in thought I finished my food and put the plate in the sink. I thanked my mother and went up to my room.
I got out my phone and looked to see if anybody has tried to get a hold of me.
"I knew you'd have fun last night! Don't worry you don't have to thank me." Taylor had sent me.
"I'm not going to lie, I actually had a good time!" I texted back. I can't believe Taylor was right about something for the first time in her life. I was absolutely dreading the date beforehand and when I got there I didn't want it to end.
Harry seems like the perfect guy that is shown in movies. He is so good looking and he also has a perfect personality. So far I haven't found a single flaw in the guy. And even though I know everybody has a flaw about them I just can't imagine what his may be.
"Btw you and Harry forgot to give each other your numbers last night. You idiots. But anyway as per usual I saved the day and I gave him your number so expect a text from him soon." She said.
"Oh thanks girl. :)" I send back.

The day went by painfully slowly. I had nothing to do and the whole day I barley left my room because I didn't feel like talking to Jake or my mom.
Now it is 9:00 at night and I decided that it would be in my best interest to work on some of the homework I have. I normally don't even bother with homework but my boredom has gotten to such a low that I've started it.
"See you tomorrow yea?" My phone buzzed with Harry's number showing. Him and I have been talking off and on through the whole day. Talking about dumb things and getting to know each other a little better.
