"Where am I... " Viridia wondered as she woke up. She was back at her mansion, "the infirmary? What happened?"

She looked down at herself and noticed the thick layer of bandages around her left shoulder. When she tried to move her left arm she noticed the pain in her shoulder.

"You shouldn't move so much, mistress," Jill advised her, who Viridia only now spotted next to the bed.

"Jill? What happened? Why does my shoulder hurt so much? Why am I in the infirmary?"

"The only people that know what happened to you are the people that brought you here," Jill replied.

"And who's that?"

"Fii, a man named Jackal and most surprisingly: Iria Behamoth."

"Iria...? Why would... Yes... Now I remember... Cheshire rammed his daggers into my left shoulder and I was bleeding out. She healed me," Viridia remembered.

"Before she left, taking an unwanted guest with her, Iria told me to deliver this message to you: 'Just because I kept you alive doesn't mean we're friends! I would never be friends with a freak like you!'"

"That does sound like her. Once an annoying whore, always an annoying whore," Viridia laughed, "What about Fii and Jackal?"

"That Jackal person left after Iria did. He said he had to honour some deceased friends. Fii is at the slave quarters in her and Sevara's room."

"I want to go and see Fii. Would you mind helping me up?"

"I'm sorry, but you have to rest. When I was hurt you told me to recover too. It is your own advice," Jill said.

"I ordered you to recover and as the mistress of this house I now order you to help me stand up," Viridia commanded.

"*Sigh* As you wish," Jill rolled her eyes.

After Jill had helped Viridia out of the bed she went with her to the slave quarters in order to visit Fii in her room. As soon as Fii saw Viridia open the door she almost couldn't hold back her happiness.

The harpy rushed towards Viridia and hugged her, enveloping Viridia in her big and fluffy feathers. Her grip was surprisingly weak and fragile.

"Viridia! I'm so happy you're okay! I was so worried! There was so much blood, I feared you would die!" Fii cried into Viridia's chest.

"Did you just call me by name again?"

"W-what, I--"

"It doesn't matter. You can call me Viri, if you want to," Viridia smiled at her, to which Fii grew a relieved and happy smile.

"Even so, please step back, Fii. The mistress is still wounded, you know?" Jill advised and Fii let go.

"You don't have to worry so much, Jill. Extremely fast healing is part of having shape shifting abilities. I have to be conscious for that though, but all should be fine by now," stated Viridia as she began to take off the bandages.

"Mistress! If you do that your wound will--!"

But to Jill's surprise there was no wound. Only a small scar which rapidly shrunk in size until it disappeared.

"That's..."

"You know, Iria's kinda right. I am a freak, but I'm happy about that," Viridia stated, "you can leave now, Jill. Tell Un and the rest of the staff that their mistress has finally returned... That reminds me, where's Amy?"

"Amy left together with the small wizard and his familiar earlier this morning. They were in a hurry, but Un is supposed to inform them when you recover," Jill replied.

"A small wizard? Never mind, just tell everyone that my health has returned to normal."

"I will, mistress," Jill said as she left the room with a short bow.

"So now that the mistress is back should I leave the room for you two?" Sevara, who kept quiet up until now, asked.

"What?" Fii exclaimed surprised and with a red face.

"That won't be necessary. Right now I just want to enjoy being back home. I will have some fun with Fii tomorrow," Viridia smiled and left the room.

Viridia went to the gardens to look at the beautiful flowers while on her way to the throne room. When she entered the large hall she looked up at the rotating stained glass window.

"That's where I caught Fii when she tried to escape the first time. This is also the room where I first met her. I remember it as if it where yesterday," she said to herself with a relaxed smile, "I wonder what would have happened if I had never sent out Un to buy a new slave, or if Fii had escaped on her first attempt."

Viridia walked up to her throne and sat down. She stared at the large door through which every visitor had to go, if they wanted to enter the throne room. She imagined Un walking through that door with Fii by his side, just like on the day they met. She still remembers that Fii wasn't wearing a bra on that day.

"She was so scared when she first came here. She was afraid of me and now she acts completely different. But was it Stockholm syndrome or perhaps something else that brought that change?" She wondered as she stood back up.

Viridia left her throne room and went upstairs to her bedroom. When she opened the door she saw that it was just the way she left it. A few spots had been cleaned by the maids, but when she let herself fall onto her bed she smelled that it hadn't been cleaned. The scent of Amy, herself and most notably Fii were still stuck to the pillows and blanket.

"This brings me back... It's only been a few months since Fii became my slave yet this scent feels so nostalgic..." Viridia sighed as she sniffed her pillows, "Fii's scent is so strong compared to mine and Amy's, but why? Why is it that every time I see Fii I want to repeat those nights? I have control over myself, not like most other succubi, so it's definitely not my usual sex drive..."

Viridia stood up from her bed and sat down on her couch and began to think, "(This clearly isn't normal, is it? Why would I harbour feelings for a harpy? She isn't even a halfling. Despite looking so human, harpies are monsters. Isn't this as if I were to fall in love with a dog!? I'm to proud for that! But then why can't I stop thinking about her...?) *Sigh* This has to stop... This thinking has to stop! And I know exactly how I can do that!"
