Continuation of the previous chapter.
I jogged up the stairs to give Ashanti the sweet tea she asked for. I knew if I took any longer she would get more than antsy.
"Damn, what took you so long? You know when I'm above and beyond I get parched." Ashanti said coughing dramatically.
I chuckled as I handed her the drink.
"To answer your question I was having trouble when getting my snack." I replied."Let me guess you couldn't reach it with your short ass?" Ashanti asked the obvious.
"I've had enough of both you calling me short. I'm taller than Kevin Hart!" I responded getting upset.
"Barely" Ashanti responded laughing hysterically then stopped herself, "Wait a minute both? You seeing double again Sanaa? I told you to stop mixing shit in your blunt!"
"No, I'm not seeing double! I was talking about you and Daniel." I responded while munching on my Cheetos.
The concernment in her face changed drastically into a sly smirk.
"Have you finally listened to little old me and talked things out?" She questioned.
"I was downstairs for at least ten minutes, do you really think we talked everything out in that short period of time? It was a brief conversation." I responded while rolling my eyes.
Just before she could retort there was a knock on the bedroom door. I gladly opened the door thanking whoever it was who interrupted this conversation. At the door stood Roger.
"Oh my fault, I didn't mean to disturb." Roger said about to walk back to his previous location.
"No, no, no. Come in, you're not disturbing anything important right now." I assured him as I got myself together. Roger walked in and laid across the bed next to Ashanti.
I casually glanced in the mirror adjusting my loose ponytail then grabbed my all white Air Max's.
"Where are you two going?" Ashanti asked.
I looked up trying to see what 'you two' she was referring to. My eyes then met with Daniel's, I assume he came up behind Roger.
"Stay out of grown folks business." Daniel replied to Ashanti's question.
I laughed then butted in, "No need to worry about us. Roger will keep you plenty of company while we're gone." I blew her a kiss and walked out of her bedroom with Daniel trailing behind me.
"Use protection!" Ashanti yelled.
What My Daddy Doesn't Know
I was currently in the passenger seat of Daniel's Porsche. He wouldn't tell me where we were going despite my whining. He muted me out and hummed some type of song.
"Can you atleast tell me how far we are from the destination?" I pleaded.
"Sanaa we've been in the car for about fifteen minutes. We are closer than we were fifteen minutes ago." He responded glancing over at me then focusing his attention back on the road.
This nigga right here.
I decided to stop being annoying because he obviously wasn't going to tell me anything. The car became quiet other than his humming.
"What are you humming?" I questioned actually intrested, it was a nice little flow that I could hear throughout the humming.
"Some new music I've been working." Daniel replied nonchalantly. I gave him a look and he knew exactly what that look meant.
