Chapter 13 | Reality or a Fantasy

((Zak's POV))

"S-Stop!! No mor-" I was kicked in the stomach as I cringed in pain. "God, do you ever shut up!!?" Trent yelled as he and his men kept kicking me multiple times while I was on the ground. I gotta tell you, it's not a very good feeling or sight.

Oh god, where's Liu..?? I need Liu, bad. The pain is unbearable.

After minutes of torture, Trent and others left finally, leaving me on the floor, of the back of the school. I used all of my strength I had in my body to get up and walk. I still felt pain but I didn't care, I mean, it literally happens all the time. It's nothing new..

"Zak! There you are." I heard Liu's voice as I felt hands bringing me into a hug. I flinch as pain rushed through at his touch. "Woah, are you okay, Zak?" he questions me. I nodded and forced a smile on my face as his eyes suddenly widened.

"Z-Zak, you have blood on your teeth!" Liu said. I suddenly start tasting the penny flavor in my mouth and I quickly spat in a corner. "It's nothing, Liu really!" I assured him. "Oh god, Zak, you have a bruise on your arm!" Liu starts noticing. I was alarmed by this and quickly his my arm behind my back, since I didn't have a sweater. All I had were bracelets on my arms to cover up my scars.

"Liu! Stop worrying!" I said, chuckling nervously. I came up to him and kissed his nose. "I'm fine." I smiled. He sighed and smiled back, kissed my nose back. I giggled and I kissed his lips as he did the same with mine. After a few good minutes of kissing, we broke away for air. "Are you sure..?" Liu asked. I smiled and kissed his cheek one last time. "Yes."

((Liu's POV))

"Liu, Sweetie! There's someone at the door for you!" my mum called from downstairs. "Hm, must be Zak." I smiled when I said his name. I walked out of my room and headed downstairs to see who it was. I opened the front door to not see Zak, but someone I don't want to see.

"D-Danielle..!? What are you doing here? I told you not to talk to me anymore.." I said as I shut the door behind me.

"I miss you, Liu. I do! Please, Liu-"

"Save it, Danielle! You screwed up and you have to deal with it!" I said, feeling frustrated.

"I know, I know I screwed up! I'm very sorry! I-I was drunk a-and I didn't know! Please! Forgive me!!" she said as tears fell from her face.

I sighed and looked away, rolling my eyes. I can't believe her. She goes and fuck some guy and she wants me to forgive her. Hmph! Pathetic.

"I'm sorry but-" in a split second, she grip my face and she kissed me.

"N-NO!" I yelled and pull away from her. "No! This isn't happening! There is no way in HELL I'm going back with you!" I yelled in anger.

"YES YOU ARE! I WILL FIND A WAY!! I WILL WIN YOUR LOVE!!! I WILL!" Danielle screams as she quickly walks away from me.

Pfft, whatever.

I woke up shirtless in my bedroom. I sighed and checked what time it was. 7:44 A.M. Hm, early..

"Hey baby... That was fun last night.." I heard a female voice say as her hands were wrapped around my waist.

"What the fuck!?" I freaked out. I pulled the sheets off my bed to see a naked Danielle on my bed.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU IN MY BED NAKED!!!??" I yelled, jumping off my bed with my boxers on only.

"What the fuck are you talking about!? Don't you remember last night!?" she asks.

What...? What the hell happened last night!? I remember doing homework, having dinner with my family, taking a shower, and going to fucking sleep!

"I DON'T REMEMBER FUCKING YOU- Holy shit, don't tell me I had sex with you did I..!?" I asked, backing away from her.

"What- of course you did! I'm your fucking girlfriend, jackass!!" she yells, going to my bathroom.

She's not my girlfriend! I remember dumping her ass! How can she still be with me?! Holy shit, where's Zak?!

"H-How could you..?!" I heard a familiar voice say. I quickly turn around to see Zak behind me with a pistol in his hand. "Zak! It's not what it looks like, I swea-"

"YES IT IS, LIU! YOU CHEATED ON ME!! HOW COULD YOU!!??" he sobs, falling onto his knees. "I-I would never cheat o-on you! Please believe me, Zak!" I pleaded.

"I'm sorry Liu.. I loved you so much.." he whispers as he raises the pistol to his head.

"Goodbye.."

"ZAK NO-"

He pulls the trigger as a loud noise shoots through my ears.

"AHHH NOO!!!!" I yell as I'm covered in sweat. I was in my room, but I had my Pikachu hoodie on with my gray skinny jeans on. I was still sitting on my desk with my homework halfway finished.

It was just a dream.. Just...

A dream.
