The leader walked towards bar sitting at one of the stools. She didn't have anyone to celebrate since her family is at the states and Shin Young texted her an hour before the party because she's taking care of her sick boyfriend.
Min Ah understood and she wasn't that sad about it. She video chatted with her family after she got home and her mom was in tears saying how proud she was along with the rest of her family.
There was one thing she was confused about and she knew she wanted to forget about it even for just a short period of time.
She looked to her left where her manager was enjoying her drink.
"Unnie~" Min Ah called out cheerfully.
"What now?" Chaerin asked suspiciously.
Min Ah smiled at her lovingly. "Can I have a drink too, neh?"
"Nope." the manager answered coldly. She was a bit surprised. Min Ah never liked drinking even if it was legal for her.
The leader pouted at her answer, "Unnie~~~~ Please~~~" she pleaded blinking her wide eyes.
"Yah! I'm gonna get in trouble if I let you drink here with all these people around."
Min Ah lowered her head down on the table and fake sobbed.
"Aish, chincha!" she cursed being defeated. "Arasso, but just ONE! You got that?" she said looking at Min Ah seriously and at the bartender with a threatening stare.
The bartender nodded, obviously scared of Chaerin.
"I'll be back got it?" Chaerin said to Min Ah.
"Neh~" she answered back in joy. "Ahjusshi, can I have a large martini please." she asked as soon as the scary manager was gone.
Chaerin who knew something was wrong, walked over to see if any of the members or Min Ah's friends were here so she could ask what's wrong with the leader. She has been acting weird ever since the interview.
She spotted her brother, Sungyeol, along with two other Infinite members occupying themselves. With one who might know the answer.
"Mian, Sungyeol and Myungsoo. I have to borrow Howon for a while." she nonchalantly said dragging the poor guy, who's been dragged twice today.
"Noona, what's wrong?" Hoya asked in confusion.
"Spill it." she demanded.
Spill what? Hoya thought. "What's wrong?" he asked again.
Chaerin narrowed her eyes at the confused guy. "What happened with Min Ah earlier that she wants to drink now?"
"Bwo?!" Hoya exclaimed. He was as surprised as Chaerin was. Everyone knew Min Ah couldn't drink that well. It made him think of what happened earlier with her friend and C.A.P.
"So you do know." Chaerin said noticing the change in his expression. She sighed, not wanting to be in the middle of it. "Just make sure she doesn't do anything stupid will you?" she asked as she put an her hand on his shoulder. "I'm trusting her to you for the night." she whispered as she walked away.
She smiled as she knew Hoya would be Min Ah's medicine. He or alcohol always got her to feel better everytime she was down.
By the time Hoya found Min Ah at the bar, she already finished two martinis.
Sadly, the bartender lost with Min Ah's drunken aegyo.
"Min Ah-ya," Hoya said calmly. "Let's stop now, eo?" he asked as he was trying to take the third one away from her.
Min Ah who couldn't tolerate alcohol as well was now drunk and didn't even know what she was doing. She looked at Hoya in confusion, "Who are you?" she asked, her brain clouded from the toxic she just consumed.
"That's it." Hoya said running out of patience. "Kaja!" he continued as he lifted one of Min Ah's arms putting it around his shoulder.
"Eo?!" Min Ah gasped "It's Lee Howon." she smiled as she got closer to the guy finally noticing who he is. "Hehe, you're so cute." she continued as she pinched one of his cheeks with her free hand.
This was just Min Ah's first stage of being drunk, she acts all cute and cheerful.
"Hoya, Yaho, Hoya, Yaho, Hoya, Yaho~" she chanted getting closer and closer to his face as they walked trying to get out of people's way.
As they were trying to avoid people, Min Ah stumbled on a couple of empty chairs swaying back and forth from Hoya's grasp.
Howon rolled his eyes at her, holding her tightly trying to settle her down. He's seen her drunk a couple of times and he knows the routine.
"YAHO~" she giggled as she poked his cheek.
By now, they were on their way to the emergency exit. Hoya opened the door to the empty space as he sat Min Ah down on one of the steps.
Just then, Min Ah shouted frustratingly. "Ugh." she hit her heads a couple of times. "Wae?!" she asked to completely no one.
"Wae, wae, wae?" she repeated thinking about Min Soo. "Ani, I tried my best to avoid him, but why did he have to come at moment, oh?" she continued talking to herself.
Hoya leaned on the wall listening to the girl's complaints worriedly. Who is she talking about? He thought. Seulma, C.A.P.?
"If only Shin Young didn't get lost, then I wouldn't have seen him." she said answering Hoya's thoughts.
At this stage, Min Ah would let all of her frustrations out not even caring who was listening.
"I mean seriously," she started doing hand motions. "the guy leaves coldly, then just suddenly apologizes and says he misses me?"
The guy listening widened his eyes as he was hearing her complaints. Did she just say C.A.P. missed her? Either way, he knew it was bothering her a lot.
"Min Ah-ya." he called out softly, lowering himself to meet her gaze.
"Lee Howon! Wae?" she said, still not done with her rant. "He was the one who left me. I forgave him knowing his reason later on, but I haven't prepared myself to meet him yet and I did." she finished as she held onto Hoya's collar.
"I have no more feelings for him, but after today, the way he apologized and said he missed me," she looked away and breathed heavily. "What should I do?" she asked softly.
Hoya cupped Min Ah's face gently. "You should forget about him." he answered.
"Ottokeyo?"
"With this.." he answered as he brought his face closer to hers. Their lips met, staying like that for a moment.
Min Ah pushed him back as she was getting herself together.
Hoya blushed, not believing what he had just done.
But, Min Ah rested her head on Hoya's shoulder asking one last question, "What was that for?" she asked almost in a whisper as her eyes forced themselves shut.
