"Chang Sun oppa!" shouted Na Eun as she made her way across some tables to get to her brother.
The MBLAQ member smiled seeing his dongsaeng. "Oh, Na Eun-ah," Lee Joon said opening his arms for her to embrace.
She didn't hesitate to hug him, missing him after a couple of months. "Oppa you really came." she said smiling, happy that her brother made it, even if he had a hectic schedule.
The older brother nodded, "Do you think I'd miss my only sister's celebration party? I saw the broadcast earlier, you did really well." he asked while messing her hair.
Na Eun pouted at his obvious answer fixing her hair back. "Why does everyone like messing with my hair today?" she protested, recalling Sunggyu's actions.
Speaking of the devil, Sunggyu was just making his way over to them to greet the two siblings, but he wasn't alone. He was walking with a middle-aged woman, who Na Eun recognized right away as her mother.
Lee Jina, the famous fashion designer, was enjoying her talk with Sunggyu when she suddenly got attacked with a hug from Na Eun who ran her way to her.
"Omo!" the womam jumped.
"Umma!" the daughter said, still holding onto her mom.
Sunggyu smiled looking at the two, while Lee Joon walked his way up to the three and put his arms around Sunggyu's shoulder.
Jina was still holding onto her daughter preventing tears to fall or else she'll ruin her make-up.
"Hyung." Sunggyu looked at the older guy acknowledging his presence.
Lee Joon smiled at his mother and sister as Jina was now looking at her daughter from head to toe, marveling at how she grew.
"Yah" he said looking at Sunggyu seriously. "you better take good care of her or else you'll get it from me." threatened Joon.
Sunggyu smiled at the worried brother, "Don't worry, hyung. I won't let anyone harm her."
Joon nodded in response, trusting him with his dear sister.
"Aigoo, Naeunnie. You've grown so pretty after all this time." said the mom with proudness in her voice. "I can't believe both my kids are famous now." she continued smiling at Joon. "Well, I won't deny it, but you guys got it from me." she finished, complimenting herself with the absence of her husband.
The three kids present couldn't help but laugh as they know so well that it's the other way around. "Neh~" they answered. They knew not to say the truth otherwise, who knows what will happen to them.
"Is appa coming?" Na Eun asked.
"Mmm." answered Jina. "He's just a little late. You know him, he's never on time for anything."
Sunggyu and Lee Joon laughed.
"Umma that's you." Joon accused.
Jina cheekily laughed, "Haha, that's right! Oops."
Na Eun laughed along with her mother enjoying their time together like the old times. Chang Sun, Sunggyu, and Na Eun would always play together as kids, then head to Na Eun's house to eat some snacks from their mother, laughing and talking about their day.
All four of them talked for a while, from Jina's designing to the kid's career, singing.
"Chang Sun-ah, I see you in the TV a lot and you're so funny. You inherited my humour so well." she said praising herself, yet again.
Then there was a man coughing behind her, she looked back and red flushed across her face. "Yobeo, you're finally here." she embraced the man, who just smiled back in return, knowing the love of his life so well.
Lee Byunghee, Na Eun's dad made his way to his daughter after his wife finished her greeting. He hugged her tightly lifting her up the floor.
"Cutesy Pie I'm so proud of you." the father said. "I can't believe my little girl is so big now."
"Appa~" she replied embarassingly as she was put down.
Byunghee smiled and placed both his hands on her cheeks, then kissed his daughter's forehead lovingly. "I missed you so much." he said before pulling her into another hug.
The designer smiled at the two, "I'll be back." she sneakily said as it was time for her to have a drink. It was a party after all.
She made her way to the bar, expertly asking the bartender her drink.
Joon shook his head as he finally let go of Sunggyu following his mother behind. "I better go watch out how many she drinks or who knows what embarassing things she'll say. Appa kaja." he said knowing it'll take more than one person to convince her from drinking a lot.
The dad laughed as he let go of Na Eun, following his son.
Na Eun and Sunggyu nodded knowing Jina had a tendency of spouting embarassing things about her family. With her family, being famous, they had to be careful.
Na Eun looked up at Sunggyu as her brother left. "So...." she said with her big, doe-shaped eyes looked straight through Sunggyu's.
He moved his head right away, looking at other people trying not to blush. He shyly smiled, "So.."
With sadness now filled in her eyes, she confronted Sunggyu, confirming her thoughts from before. "Oppa! Really?"
He looked at her suddenly from her change of tone.
"Why do you always look away when I'm talking to you? You barely even answer my texts anymore, you say you never have time, but that's a lie. It doesn't take that long to say you're doing fine and you have something else to do. I know you were against me being an idol, but can't you just be happy for me finally achieving my dreams? I've been keeping it in all this time because I thought you would get over it and be happy for me, but I guess you're not. If you hate me just say so, that way I'll know not to bother you." she shouted against the loud music.
Sunggyu was speechless. He didn't know this was what Na Eun thought, if only she really knew.
Na Eun huffed, "You won't even answer me?" she asked still furios.
Sunggyu was still trying to make up his mind whether or not to confess the real reason he's been acting this way. He opened his mouth to finally say something, only to be cut off by the hot-tempered girl in front of him.
"You know what? Forget I even said anything. I get it." she interrupted in a softer tone turning to leave Sunggyu by himself.
The leader who finally got himself together, instinctly grabbed the younger girl's arms. "Wait!"
Na Eun looked back with tears forming in her big eyes. "Why?" she asked. "So you can tell me some lie to make me feel better? Let go of me, I don't wanna hear it." she answered herself, yanking her arms away from his grasp running in full speed away from everyone before her tears fall, leaving Sunggyu yet again speechless.
What did I just do? He asked himself. Seconds later he ran right away stopping to look at every direction hoping to find her, but with no such luck, she was already gone.
