On the other side, as Hae Jung got in she spotted Jin Jae Bum and Park Mi Soo. The couple was holding each others hands lovingly and looking at their daughter with pure happiness.
"Umma, Appa!" she exclaimed running towards her parents. She hugged both right away leaving her worries behind. They drove hours just to see their daughter and celebrate for her success.
They returned her hug, with Jae Bum and Mi Soo squeezing her in the middle.
Hae Jung laughed as she remembered her parents always doing this to all their children, which reminded Hae Jung of her four younger siblings.
"Where's Yun Hee and the others?" she asked looking around for her sisters and brothers.
Mi Soo looked apologetically at her daughter holding her cheek and rubbing it with her thumb. "Sorry Jungie," she began. "I know you wanted to see them, but kids aren't supposed to be at this kind of party, plus they have school tomorrow." she explained.
Hae Jung nodded her head understanding the situation.
Her dad smiled at her, which she also made her smile matching the smile on his eyes too. "Don't worry, they wrote you letters." he said handing her 3 colorful letters.
She looked ecstatic as she was opening the lavender letter, probably from Yun Hee, her fourteen year old sister.
Unnie,
I'm so proud of you! We all watched your performance and you really looked like you were having fun. You looked really skinny though ): Have you been eating well? Are they even feeding you at that place? Please take care of your health. Don't worry about us at home, we're doing fine. Just worry about your health, neh? Also, don't overwork yourself, I don't want to see your name in the articles for collapsing from fatigue and stress like the other idols. Make sure to be happy and visit us once in a while. I really love you! Hwaiting <3
P.S.
Are you close with the Infinite oppas? You should let me visit once when they're there. (:
Yun Hee~
Hae Jung couldn't hold back her tears as she read Yun Hee's thoughtful letter. She brought the piece of paper closer to heart as she thought about her mature, younger sister.
Both parents looked at their daughter worriedly, "Jungie, are you okay?"
She nodded and smiled, "I just miss them that's all" wiping the tears from her eyes.
The couple smiled knowing their other kids felt the same way.
Hae Jung moved on the next letter, opening the blue one.
Hae Jung-noona,
You rapping is so cool. You should teach it to me so I can be a rapper someday too. Hwaiting <3
Saranghae! <-- Yun Hee-noona wrote that, not me.
-Seuk Jin
Hae Jung laughed at her ten year old brother's letter. He still wants to be a rapper too, huh? She thought to herself. I should come teach him once in a while.
Curious about the last letter, she hurriedly opened it, resulting for a piece of paper to fly to the floor. She quickly walked over to get it kneeling down, but bumped heads with someone who was doing the same as her.
Hae Jung fell on her butt losing balance from the stronger stranger...only he wasn't a stranger.
"Eo! Hae Jung-ah mianhae!" shouted Dongwoo who quickly picked up the picture and got up to help Hae Jung who was now rubbing her head.
