Seon Yul looked around for signs of her father even if she knew her father wouldn't be able to make it as he was a really famous designer in France. Disappointed after her search, she gave up understanding her dad was ten times busier than her.
Luckily, she spotted her best friend talking with some grown-ups about who knows what.
"Kibum oppa!" she called out smiling at her friend's presence.
After hearing his name being called out, he bowed to the grown ups to excuse himself. The Almighty Key looked at his best friend smiling with his pouty lips. "Seon Yul!" he yelled out as he dramatically ran to her with open arms.
The two friends embraced as Seon Yul laughed at their exaggerated reunion. I mean, they were just video chatting a couple hours ago as Key picked out what she would wear and what to do with her hair.
"You're so dramatic, you know that?" she giggled as she put her arms around his shoulder on her tippy toes, trying matching his height.
"Yah!" he purred. "That's what you love about me, so why complain?" he said being offended.
This only made Seon Yul crack up more nodding in agreement. She stopped as she looked at her best friend, "Who were you talking to?" she asked curiously.
"Oh, those people?" he started. "They're some people my appa knows. He made them come see Lucky 7 tonight to see if they're interested in being sponsors. It was my idea." he smiled victoriously at her.
"Wah, chincha?" she blinked in amazement. "You're so DAEBAK, you know?" she asked still under his spell.
Key laughed, "Tell me something I don't know." making Seon Yul smile at her diva-like friend.
They walked around arms around each other's shoulders talking about the most random things.
SHINee's Sherlock started ringing and Key pulled out his phone from his pockets, before looking at Seon Yul apologetically.
He answered his phone as it was his manager. "Neh, hyung I'll be there right away." he said at the end.
Seon Yul frowned after hearing her best friend was leaving. She wanted to have fun and play pranks on the other members. The perfect person to do it was with Kibum and sadly, he had to go.
"Do you really have to go, oppa? We haven't even started our night yet." she asked hoping he would stay to at least have fun for a couple of minutes.
Key looked as sad as she was. He knew she wanted to celebrate like old times tonight. "Mmmm. You know them, they can never do anything without me." he joked trying to brighten up her mood.
"Text me later, arasso." Seon Yul smiled as she hugged her leaving friend.
"Oui." he answered in French.
"Merci, thanks for coming. I really appreciate it." she talked back in the same language.
"Ah, before I forget." he smiled. "Close your eyes."
Seon Yul did as she was told closing her eyes, but peeking sneakily.
"Kim Seon Yul, don't you dare open your eyes. You'll like the surprise, I promise." he said sincerely.
The girl knew to trust this guy closing her eyes. They've known each other since practically they were born and he was the number one person she would trust her life to, after her dad that is.
Key moved behind Seon Yul carefully putting the necklace he received from her dad. He clasped it together and fixed her hair pulling it from the gold chain and placing it back on it's perfect place.
