A slap resounding in the empty room.
Her eyes wide in horror.

I didn't want to see her like this. I fall on my knees.

Looking up at her, begging, pleading.

"I'm sorry. I'm not trying to hurt you."

"I don't need anything, just let me stay beside you. This time I'll make sure to protect you."

Yoojin walks away without saying anything.

I hold her wrist in desperation. She looks at me with the same arrogance she often did in the past.

"Let go."

I look down, letting go reluctantly.

The whole night I stayed still on the floor and she remained locked in her room.

When morning came, I had enough time to think calmly.

I'll take my time to open her up to me. I smiled. We had time to do that now.

I'll probe her out of her shell, or better yet I will move into her shell, so that there is nothing in her world other than me. It only seemed fair.

I knock on her door.

"Breakfast is ready."

No sound.

"Like I promised yesterday. I won't do anything."

Still no sound.

"If you don't make any sound, I become worried and break the door."

Still silence.

"I've lost you once, I can't see you disappear again."

She walks out of her room, her eyes down cast, she was feeling guilty.

Good.

I can use this feeling, no matter how small to sneak into to a crack of her heart.

My love, look at what you've turned me into, it is only fair you fall the same.
