CHAPTER 9 : CLEF

There must be something wrong with me because I just couldn't seem to control my lips from meeting hers every single time she called out my name. 

She shoves me a little, gave me a glare and threw a pillow at me. "STOP KISSING ME!"

"Sorry, sorry." I quickly apologized, catching another pillow that was thrown at me. "I didn't know what came over me.."

"Hindi na nakakatuwa ang pinagagawa mo." Mi said, possibly the longest thing she had ever said to me. "If you're doing this just so that I can feature in your song, stop it."

I looked at her in disbelief, did she really think that was all I wanted from her? "Yes, I wanted you to feature in my song but never do I ever do this with any of the singers who work with me. Never."

"Then.. why?"

"You know, I don't usually do the begging for the singers to sing for and with me. Most of them usually don't need me to beg, not to brag. Yung iba naman, si Jon yung nag-aasikaso for them to work with me."

Mi repeated her question, "Then why?" 

I truly did wish I knew the answer to that, but I didn't. Did I like her? Was I falling for her? I honestly wouldn't know because... I don't think I've ever felt this way with anyone. 

"Ah, baka gusto mo lang ng kalandian. Excuse you, don't treat me as if I'm easy."

I shook my head, "No, it's not like that! It's just.. Mi, I think I like you?" 

"And I think that you should leave."

"Mi, please. I just.. I haven't done or felt this way with anyone. Ever. So I really don't know kung paano kita sasagutin kung bakit hinahalikan kita, kasi pati ako tinatanong ko sarili ko kung bakit."

"Sino ba ang niloloko mo ha? Anong susunod sasabihin mo na first kiss mo yun ganun?" she rolled her eyes, one hand on her waist. Cute. 

I bit my lip before I began, "Of course, hindi ko first kiss yan noh. Well.. first kiss ko na walang naka abang na camera and audience." the last part I said in a small voice. 

"Anong pinagsasabi mo?" 

How would I ever explain to her that my first kiss happened on my first ever music video shoot? How would I let her understand that she was the first girl I've ever wanted to kiss, no music video shoots, cameras or whatever? 

"Hoy sumagot ka! May fetish ka ba? At di ka sanay na humalik na walang camera.." Mi innocently asked, feeling a little weirdness with what she asked. 

I let out a little laugh, went near her, tucked her loose hair strands and said, "If I tell you my story, would you tell me yours?" 

"No." 

Oh. 

She must've seen a hint of disappointment in my reaction because she quietly added, "You know, these past few days.. it had been quite fun for me too. With you being around. You were so patient with me even if I talked through my phone. Not everyone has the same patience as you. And yeah, maybe I could tell you my story. But would it be okay to tell you once I'm ready?" 

I nodded and placed my hand on top of hers. "No rush, Mi. You can take all the time you need."

"No rush ka diyan pero dalawang beses mo na ako hinahalikan. Gago." she muttered under her breath but I could hear her. She was right and it made me chuckle.
