confront them? yes. its too late to turn back now. the two is standing in front of lia's door, hesitating to ring the bell. "what if it's bad? what if... what if-" lia rambled but was cut off. "no. chill. its gonna be okay. hopefully.." soobin said, mumbling the last word.
"okay, here i go.." lia announced before ringing the doorbell. a distant ding dong was heard from inside before a woman's voice responded from inside, "coming!!"
"julia! hi!" the woman exclaimed, engulfing lia into a big hug. "aunt!! hii!!" lia exclaimed, hugging the woman back. "i missed you, darling!" her aunt exclaimed. then, the two females started chatting away in english, making the tall bunny absolutely confused.
"guys, i'm still here.." soobin said hesitantly. "ah right! aunt, meet my best friend. i expect you to know him." lia smiled. lia's aunt looked and examined soobin's facial features. "hi aunt. do you remember me?" soobin asked, flashing his bunny smile.
"that smile- soobin!! its you isn't it??" the woman exclaimed. soobin nodded, "the one and only!" he declared. the smile on lia's aunt's face widen as she gave soobin's cheeks a gentle squeeze. "you've grown so much!! it seems like yesterday you were a little child!!" she cooed and stared at soobin.
"are you guys dating? you're very handsome!" the woman asked. lia shook her head, "n-no it's not like that! we're still best friends though!" she clarified. her aunt frowned, "what a shame.. you could've looked good together." she sighed which made the two blush.
"anyways, we're here to see mom and dad. do you know where they are?" lia asked. her aunt shook her head, "unfortunately no. they told me to take care of the house cause it's been a long time since they had quality time together." her aunt explained.
"oh.. i see.. can we wait inside? we have something important to ask them." lia explained. her aunt laughed, "i wont forbid you to enter your own house. come in come in! soobin-ah, make yourself at home." her aunt said.
"aunt~ that's my line.. its my house." lia jokingly pouted. her aunt ruffled her hair with a laugh, "whatever you say." she giggled.
the three sat there and chatted which each other but then was interrupted by the door opening. "we're back!!" lia's dad declared.
"mom!! dad!! hi!!" lia exclaimed, running to her parents with a wide smile. "julia! i missed you dear!" her mom said, engulfing lia in a warm hug. but then, as lia's parents eyes scanned the room, they saw soobin and lia's mom pulled away from the hug with a hand over her wide opened jaw.
her dad dropped the shopping bags and looked equally as shocked as his wife, "i-is this-"
"yes, father. it's soobin."
