"honey.." mrs choi started, entering the girl's room slowly. "oh, mom! what's up?" lia asked. "i.. don't know how you will react to this news. i don't want to put more pressure on you." she said.
lia stared at her in confusion, "what? what do you mean? what news?" she asked. "it's about soobin..." her mother trailed off. hearing the male's name mentioned, lia widened her eyes, "what? what happened? is he okay? did something bad happen?" she exclaimed, bombarding her mother with questions.
"soobin... had an accident this morning. he is in the hospital now.."

lia ran. she ran like she never ran before. maybe even faster than any speed of light can be. lia knew exactly where she was going. the hospital. she completely abandoned all her schoolwork and everything she was doing.
everything she could think of is soobin. just soobin. arriving to the hotel receptionist, lia panted, demanding for his room number. "please!! choi soobin! where is he?!" she cried.
the nurse at the front desk smiled, "second floor. third door to your right." she said. thanking the nurse, lia bolted again towards the emergency stairs. she ain't got no time to wait for the lift.
seeing the designated door, she barged in, only to see one dark, quiet, creepy room. "h-hello? s-soobin? anyone here?" she called out. but no answer. suddenly, the door behind her clicked close. it was locked.
panicked, lia thought she was getting kidnapped and ran to the door attempting to open it. however, a hand stopped her from behind and pulled her deeper into the room.
"this is it. i'm gonna die." lia thought.
just as she was saying final goodbyes in her heart, the lights turned on. but not the hospital light, but fairy lights that were hung on the wall. gasping, she walked towards it and saw pictures of her and soobin hanging.
lia caressed one of the pictures in awe, remembering the very moment.
"do you like it?" a voice interrupted her admiration. snapping her head to the side, lia saw soobin holding a bouquet of flowers. "i love it! but why did you make it?" she asked.
smiling, soobin approached lia and took her hand, "choi jisu. you don't know how much i missed you when you were gone. but then you entered my life again and i was the happiest i ever been." he started.
"will you promise to never leave me again? will you make me happier than i already am and officially be mine?" he asked, handing the flowers to lia.
"choi jisu, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked finally.
throwing herself unto the boy, lia hugged him and exclaimed, "yes! yes! a billion times yes!" she exclaimed.
