Aura's POV:

The alarm blared through my loft.

I groggily dragged my ass from the comfortable bed, and descended the stairs to eat breakfast. After that, I went back up and began getting ready.

I got dressed in simple work clothes –Black pants, and a grey blazer- and was on my way.

"Morning, Sophie." I mumbled to her as I walked in.

"Good Morning, Aura. Mr. Hamilton is waiting for you in his office."

"Okay."

I placed my stuff in my office, then went back towards Noah's. I raised my hand, and knocked lightly.

"Come in." His thick voice echoed.

"Good morning." I said.

"We don't have time for pleasantries right now, Ms. Collins. Take these files and organize them, arrange the conference room for the day's meetings, call Dr. Lee and send her some flowers to congratulate her on her baby, and make me a decent cup of coffee! The rest are on your desk, now go..."

And....the jerk was back.

"Of course."

After placing the mug of coffee on the jerk's table, I grabbed the large pile of folders, and balanced them on my arms.

It was huge! Oh God, the rest, there was more...

After taking extreme precautions not to drop the files, I reached my office...safely.

I got down to work.

This was slightly complicated.

The files were mixed up, that it was hard to assemble them. So I did the only rational thing.

I extended my hand, and pushed them forcefully off the table.

The files flew down to the floor in a jumbled mess.

Was that... a bad idea?

I stood up, and starting sorting them in piles on my desk.

Then, I called the florist who promised to send the prettiest bouquet of flowers to Dr. Lee, which really made me think of the way everyone wanted to kiss up that jerk- I mean boss.

After exactly an hour, I made my way to Noah's office.

I knocked, and went in.

Two men were seated in the chairs, and were invested in a deep conversation with my boss.

"Here are the files, Mr. Hamilton."

I began walking towards his desk, when I misplaced a step and the files went tumbling from my grasp.

"Fuck." I muttered under my breath.

I hesitantely looked up, and literally saw the fumes erupting from his ears.

Well, Shit.

"I'll pick them right up. I need two minutes." I said quickly.

"Mr. Reyes. Mr. Sinclair. Please follow me to the conference room."

Noah ushered them outside, and turned his terrifying gaze on me.

"I-"

"Great job making a fool of yourself, Ms. Collins." He stated, then walked out.

"Asshole."

I quickly assembled the files back as they were, and placed them on the asshole's desk, then made my way back out.
