From Richard's POV (for the first time UwU)

My alarm rang loudly in my ear, somehow louder than my music. I groaned and shut it off and sat up. First day of school or whatever, not a big deal. I checked my phone for everything I missed while I was asleep then got up and went through the usual morning routine. Boy, this uniform is atrocious. But for the sake of not being a total critic, I'll just go with the flow. I got my breakfast and school bag and left the house. The school was a decent travel from my house, but nothing I couldn't handle. I met up with my usual squad and talked about popular kid things as we waited for the bus. Honestly, I'm not really into half the things they talk about, but at least they're friends that have my back. In about 2 minutes, the bus came and we all got on traveled to the school. Credit where credit is due, it was a pretty alright school. Inside and out.

I was about to go in when one of friends suggested we get breakfast at a Starbucks not far from the school. Despite the fact that I already ate, I went along with it cuz why not. We chilled and talked for about half an hour before heading back. I was probably the only one worried that were extremely late for first period. I got my schedule and ran to my class without saying much of a goodbye. I did make it, with about 9-8 minutes left. I went inside and talked to the teacher about what happened. He was extremely chill about and said not to worry about it. I noticed everyone recognized me from my socials, which was cool. I looked around for a seat and saw two empty ones near the middle. Some quiet boy was sitting there. I sat down in the seat across from him and tried to focus on Mr. TeacherMan. I did notice every so often quiet boy would sneak a glance at me. Most odd.

Then came that social excersise at the end of class. I think I'm decent at talking to people. Everyone was begging to be my partner, which I didn't really care for, and it seemed TeacherMan didn't either. He put me with quiet boy, to everyone's dismay. Poor kid look petrified at people's glares at him. I felt sorry for him. So we began the convos. Went pretty normal I think. He clearly isn't the best at talking. Stuttering and lagging his words. Hopefully he improves. I tried to be as nice as I could. Class bell rang, and that was that.

                                                Skippin' Beats To lunch Y'all....

Lunch was usually how it always goes. I have my usual table of friends. A bunch of girls already tried to hit on me, which I declined. Staying single is probably what's best for me, at least for now. Those girls aren't really my type anyways. I did notice quiet boy -Matthew- going outside. I didn't know we could go outside. I asked one of my friends and they confirmed it. I told them I'd be back and went to see outside myself. It was really peaceful. Just a break from all the chaos and hectic things. I walked around to admire the scenery, and I saw Matthew sitting behind a tree. He had headphones in and was drawing something. For once, he finally looked at ease. That was nice. I was going to try to talk to him but I heard the bell ring. Maybe another time.

A Hop And A Skip To 8th We Go.......

Art huh? I never was really a drawer. But if I want to pass I would have to try. As I was going to the room, one of my friends told me there was an emergency and we all had to meet in the bathroom. I reluctantly agreed. They call losing 50 followers at once an emergency. Bruh. This "emergency" took up almost 10 minutes and made me late to class. Again. I rushed in and tried to explain something to the teacher. Guess it was my lucky day cuz whatever phony excuse I said worked. I sat in the middle with some of my friends and started to try to work on this sketchbook cover. I noticed Matthew in the front, but he didn't seem to notice me. Or anything. Not even his other sketchbook on the floor. Eventually he got up showed Ms. Teacher Woman who complimented him a lot. Then he left to go somewhere. I continued my drawing when someone walked by Mathew's desk and almost tripped on his sketchbook. They picked it up and went back to there own desk and started flipping through it. All of a sudden I heard lots of laughter and talking. I looked at what was going on. Seemed everyone who looked at that book saw something incredibly funny. Or something like that. People started looking at me funny and asking me if anyone liked me. I just said none that I know of, which was the perfect answer in this situation. Eventually the book came around to me, and I was surprised at what I saw to say the least.

I don't like guys. Not like that anyways. I mean I knew I was being nice to him, but was I too nice? People started asking  if I liked him to which I denied and even started shipping us. What a nightmare. Eventually, Matthew came back and when he did everyone was looking at him. He looked extremely uncomfortable and confused. He went back to seat and started tearing his bag apart looking for something. His sketchbook prolly. He eventually saw one of the guys in the back with and went up to them. Everyone immediately took out there phones. I just watched. Honestly I felt really bad for him. As the situation was getting more deep, he looked more and more...well scared. I thought he was gonna throw up. I've obviously never been outed before, but I do know it's a horrible that can happen. Poor guy ran out the class without even getting his stuff. Everyone was talking about how they got it on video and whatnot as the bell rung signaling the end of the first day. I waited for everyone to leave, then i packed and got my stuff, and then got Matthew's as well. I don't know when I would see him, but when I do I'll give him his stuff.

I went out and was greeted with emptiness. What great friends, leaving me behind. Luckily though, it worked out today. I got on the bus and rode it home. I got home and put stuff away and fixed something to eat. As I finished, I heard buzzing. It was coming from Matthew's bag. Seems he had a lot of missed calls and messages from his mom. At least she worries. I can't remember the last text I got from my mom. I hit up his mom and explained what happened (Not actually, but just a fake story about him losing his bag) and she bought it. She told me that he'd be at school tomorrow and I could return it then. I asked if there was any way to find him now, and she said probably not, but he likes quiet places. I thanked her and hung up. Quiet places huh? Only place I can think of is the park opposite the bus stop. Doubtful he'd be there but it's worth a shot. I got on my shoes and jacket and grabbed his stuff and walked to the park.

At first I didn't see him anywhere, no matter how hard I tried. But then, I saw someone sitting alone on a swings. It was him. I don't know how but it was him, he was there. I walked up to him. As I got closer he noticed me and got nervous, which makes sense considering what happened. I stood next to him and handed him his stuff.

"I believe all this cool stuff belongs to you."

Authors Note: This may seem like a pointless recap, but I thought it would be a nice break from the super long chapters that One and Two where. Next Chapter will have joint POVs, so stay tuned for that! Until next time! ^^
