Matthew's POV
I didn't want him to find out this way. I mean, I had to eventually tell him. But I didn't want him to find out this way. But this was the best way I guess. I just...didn't want to tell him in general. I pulled Richard into a hug and held him for a long time. At least it felt like a long time. I...I don't like hurting people but..there are some situations where someone has to get hurt no matter what. Richard spoke up:
"So your moving far away from here huh..? How far?"
"Umm..so where in Brooklyn...the job my mom is going to is in Long Island.."
Richard sighed. Brooklyn to Long Island is a far drive, and even farther by other means. But I'm not moving until the end of the school year so that's something. I patted Richard's head and caresses his soft hair.
"It's not all bad Rich.. I'm not moving until the end of the school year. So we still have a couple of months together."
"Really? That's better than I expected. I just assumed you were moving closer to now."
Richard looked up at me, feeling more relieved. I smiled at him and nodded. Then he hugged me tighter almost making me fall over. I laughed and let us fall on the grass. I may of hurt him, but at least I softened the blow. The bell rang, and we got up and headed to our next class.
After School...
Me and Richard held hands walking home per usual. Richard is really smart. The way he went all detective to see if my story checked out was really...hot. Really really hot, actually. To think he cares that much about me. Richard snapped me out of my thoughts:
"Hey so, are you busy tomorrow night?"
"Huh what?"
Richard smirked.
"I asked if you were free tomorrow night? Well not night just after school."
I nervously nodded. What could he be planning this time? Maybe he needs help with something? I don't know. Maybe he wants to get started on our project actually. Anyways, he's obviously not gonna tell me so I won't bother asking.
"Also, can you tell me more about the job your mom is getting?"
"O-Oh yeah..well. She cooks very well right? And I'm always telling her how much of a great cook she is. Well she actually got offered to be a professional cook out in Long Island. Like at an actual top dog restaurant. It pays a lot and if she does well it'll look great on her resume. But she can choose when she wants to move over there so she said it would be wisest to let me finish out my school year and then have me go to another...school."
"Mmm, yeah that makes sense. I am really happy for you and your mom."
I didn't reply, as I was still sad about having to leave Richard. I don't want to...I really don't. Maybe there's some way I don't have to leave him...maybe.. And as if he was reading my mind..
"Don't worry, Matt. I will find a way to keep us together. I promise you that."
"Promise...? How can you promise that..? Something like that, I don't think you can control.."
Richard smiled. He looked so confident in his words I was inclined to believe him. That's what I wanted to do...but I had my doubts.
"I can't say it's guaranteed, but I'll do my best alright? I promise you that."
"Alright."
We walked and made it to my house where we went inside out down our stuff and headed up to my room as usual. My mom was working late so we were home alone. I started setting up my system like usual but Richard stopped me. He suddenly pushed me onto the bed and climbed on top of me. I blushed nervously and started to sweat.
"U-Uhm what are you doing...-"
Richard shushed me and brought his face close to mine. I stared into his eyes as he looked into mine.
"Just shush. Go with the flow, and do what your body desires~"
"W-W-What..-"
My efforts to speak where silenced as Richard kissed me. I didn't really know what he meant by what he said but...there were things that I wanted to do with him...is that what he meant..?
Richard continued to kiss me, and I kissed him back. I wasn't sure what to do but, no harm in trying? I put my hands on his chest, and he responded by rubbing my chest which felt...good actually. Hmmm what now? Maybe I could kiss somewhere else. I pulled away from his lips and went lower and nervously kissed his neck. Richard made a noise and responded by kissing my neck back. It felt...even better. This is going better than I expected. Suddenly Richard got up and got off of me. I looked at him confused.
"Yknow for you apparent first time, your not doing too bad haha."
I blushed even more and was too embarrassed to reply. As I sat there like a stop sign, Richard started taking off his shirt. I was gonna ask him what he was doing but before I could even get the words out he stood in front of me shirtless. All I could do was stare with my mouth open. Richard studied me and out his finger in my mouth, to which I immediately closed it and took his finger out. He laughed.
"So hot stuff, what's next?"
"W-Wha huh... your asking me..? I-I don't know.."
Richard smirked and sat on my lap. I was to shocked to move or react. He had full control of me. He looked into my eyes and caressed my cheek.
"So I'm guessing your straining that big ol brain of yours to figure out what I'm inviting you to tomorrow hm?"
I snapped out of it long enough to reply. Jesus what's going on with me? I'm literally overheating and...feel really weird. I don't know what this feeling is.
"Y-Yeah I would like to know.. I just assumed it was for the project..?"
Richard laughed again.
"I wouldn't invite you out for something so boring! Well it prolly won't be boring, but you get what I mean. I honestly thought you'd get it cuz your super smart."
I would say I blushed, but my face is completely red so if I blushed anymore you wouldn't be able to tell. Richard fished in his pocket and pulled out two tickets. WAIT TICKETS-
"It's for movie. Then dinner. I want to go on a date with you. So do you want to go on date with me?"
WUAUAUSUSUAUUZBSHZZHSHSHDHSSJSJSYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYSYSYEYSYSYSYESYESY-
"e-erm..yes. I wouldn't mind that."
My first date. What could possibly go wrong?
