Previously on the Saviour and Her Knight:

y/n received a letter from the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, telling her about the annual Christmas ball her ancestors have held since Rowena Ravenclaw. He attached a list of the families that had always attended:

"So let's see the list then. Come on, come on, take it out." urged Ron. "Well it looks like it's mainly pureblood Zabini, Potter, Malfoy-" read out Hermione. "Hang on why isn't-

Your POV

-your family there Ron? You're pure bloods aren't you?" asked Harry.

"Yeah, but we're what's called a 'Blood-Traitor' where you don't really care about the fact that you are pure-blood and that you freely converse with Muggles and Muggle-Borns." (A/N I know the list has Weasley on it but since the Wizarding World isn't very fond of wizards talking with muggles and call them 'blood traitors' I just wanted to do it for the sake of the story

"So why didn't your parents put the Weasleys back down onto the list?" asked Hermione.

"I don't know, I must have had some really prejudice relatives that didn't want to put them back on. My grandparents probably were the prejudice ones. You become the one to hold the ball when your parents die and my grandparents didn't die until the year I was born according to the Hogwarts library. My grandparents died on Boxing Day and then my parents didn't get to host the 1981 Christmas Ball. Because they were, well, they were dead. So I have technically been able to host this ball for 10 years but according to Fudge I am now capable since I am here. I am putting the Weasleys back on the list, no matter what anyone has to say. If they want to say otherwise, they can fight me." I said, smirking.

Hermione, Harry and Ron looked at me terrified. They knew what I was capable of without a wand.

"So aren't you going to write back to the minister?" asked Hermione.

"Of course I will. I kind of have to. I am going to tell the minister that the Weasley's will now be on the list of the Sacred 27 which is now the Sacred 28."

I wrote out the names on the list for those who would attend. It went like this: Abbot, Avery, Black, Bulstrode, Burke, Carrow, Crouch, Fawley, Flint, Gaunt, Greengrass, Lestrange, Longbottom, Macmillan, Malfoy, Nott, Ollivander, Parkinson, Prewett, Rosier, Rowle, Selwyn, Shacklebolt, Shafiq, Slughorn, Travers, Weasley, Yaxley and Zabini.

"So that means Neville is going?" asked Harry.

"Yeah, not his parents though."

"Why not?"

"It's not my position to say. Besides this Christmas Ball doesn't just celebrate Christmas but it also arranges marriages."

"WHAT!" yelled Harry, Hermione and Ron.

"You might want to yell again. I don't think the whole wizarding world heard you."

"Sorry n/n, but I just never thought you would host something like this. Besides Malfoy's going. What if his father tries to get you marry him?" asked Harry.

"Thing is, he already has. He's owled my adopted family so many times to come over to the Malfoy household. Draco and I were so close but we drifted apart after... something happened. The Malfoy's don't know but my adopted parents do."

"What? What happened?" asked Hermione.

"Nothing. I'm sorry that you two can't come." I said looking at Harry and Hermione. "It's just, well, a person with a status like mine has to uphold things like these. Harry, you're a half-blood considering your father, James Potter, was a pure-blood and your mother, Lily Evans, was a muggle-born but the Potters were taken off the list centuries ago due to your ancestor, Henry Potter having quite an outspoken pro-Muggle view while he was in the Wizengamot. And Hermione, you're a muggle-born. This whole pure-blood society is corrupted. I'm not prejudice but please forgive me for this." I said, pleading for their forgiveness.

"We know you aren't prejudice, but how did your family stay pure-blood? Did they always marry Hogwarts house ancestors?" asked Hermione.

"No, funny story though. I'm part Malfoy." I said, cringing. "My great grandmother was a Malfoy. Her name was Nova Alya Malfoy."

"You're distantly related to Malfoy? Seriously?" said Ron.

"Yeah. Lucius wants royalty to come back into his family. The thing is, I don't approve of arranged marriages. Even though great-grandmother Nova was already in love with Sir Hamish Gryffindor, they were arranged to get married. So it all worked out for them. Then my grandparents came along. They were friends with Fleamont Potter, your grandfather Harry, but Eleanor Slughorn fell for Sir Alexander Gryffindor. They then had my father Sir f/n Gryffindor and he married my mother who came from France. Her family must have moved there and he met Lady m/n Ravenclaw while on a trip through Europe. So yeah, parts of my family are on this list. I'm pretty sure my grandmother had a brother called Howard or Hugh. I don't remember. Either way, I know he's still alive. Maybe I'll finally meet him."

"Wow. Your past sure is complicated and very messed up, if you don't mind me saying so." said Harry.

"Nah, it's fine Harry. I'm just going to put Potter back on the list and put Granger on there as well. Fudge did say he wanted new families." I scribbled down Potter  and Granger  on the list. I started to write the letter

Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge

Ministry of Magic

Minister's Office

Dear Mr Fudge, I am indeed having a wonderful Christmas. How is yours? Mr Potter is already acquainted with me and he is well-mannered friend as well as kind. I accept your offer to host the Christmas Ball of 1991. I have attached the guest list and have added a couple of new families onto the list as requested.

- Yours Sincerely Lady y/n Gryffindor-Ravenclaw
