Y/n's P.O.V
"Goku I already told you, I'm not interested!"
'Gosh, he's so stubborn.'
I thought to myself.
"Please Y/n I'm beggin' you, join the Tournament of Power!"
He begged.
Do you want to know how I got into this situation?
Well, I'll tell you how.

Flashback << few hours ago

I got out of the bathroom after a nice warm bath.
As I entered my room, I was shocked to see Goku sitting on my bed in a criss-cross position, grinning.
"Yo, N/n-chan!"
I screamed as I throw my slippers at him.
"What happened M'lady?!"
Haru and Samantha bursted in the room at the same time.
Then they saw Goku and began to pull him out as I sighed in relief.

Small time skip>>

After putting some clothes on, I went downstairs to the living room and saw Goju sitting on one of the couches.
"So, what do you want Goku?"
I asked as I sat on another couch opposite him.

"I wanna tell you something very important."
He paused for a few seconds.
"I want you to join the Tournament of Power, N/n-chan."
I sighed.
"Goku, I'm sorry for telling you this but I am not interested in joining."
"EH?! But why?!"
"Because I said so."

Back to Present>>

"Please N/n-chan I'm beggin' you! The universe's fate is on the line!"
I stood up as my expression darkened and looked at him with cold eyes.
"Fate?"
"Well.... um that's...."
He trailed off as I frowned.

"You're hiding something aren't you?"
"Um.. Could you tell?"
He scratch the back of his neck.
"Of course. I've already noticed it ever since the beginning. Unless you refuse to tell me the truth, I will not join."
I sat back down as I crossed my arms.

His expression turned into a serious one.
"Actually..."
He trailed off.
"If we lose, the entire universe'll be erased."
My eyes widened.
I'm so shocked that I couldn't speak.
I sighed after a few minutes.
"Alright, I'll think about it."
I said as I stood uo and went outside as Goku followed.
"But don't expect too much!"
I said as I fly to Krillin's and 18's place.
'I wonder how they are doing.'
I thought as I landed and knocked on the door.

"Coming!"
A familiar voice shouted from inside as they come to open the door.
"Oh hello Y/n, long time no see."

smiled as she smiled back.
I went inside and sit on the couch.
"Wait here for a minute. I'll prepare some tea."
18 said as she put Marron on my lap amd went to the kitchen.

After a few minutes, she came back with two cups of tea and placed them on the table as she sat opposite me.
I look around seeing how nothing changed.
"Where is Krillin?"
I asked her.
"He's recently working as a cop."
It was silent for a few minutes before 18 speak again.

"So how are things going between you two?"
The moment I heard her ask that, I know who she was talking about.
"So-so."
I said before drinking my tea.
"Did Goku ask you to join the Tournament of Power?"
"Yeah, he suddenly popped out of nowhere in my room. But I'm still thinking."
"Krillin and I are joining actually."
I gasped.
"What?"
She raised her eyebrow at me.
"It's nothing."
I smiled.

"Ne ne aunty."
I look down at Marron.
"Yes Marron?"
I said as I smile at my young niece.
"Play with me!"
"Okay."
"YAY!"
"By the way, Goku recruited him for the tournament."
I try to hide my excitement.
"I see."

Time skip>>after playing with Marron

Marron fell asleep in my arms and 18 took her in her arms as I went to the door.
"I'll be going then, I've got homework to do."
I said as I wave my hand.
"Okay, take care."
18 smiled and went back inside as I fly off.

I landed at the park and hear my phone ring.
I sat on a bench as I take it out of my pocket to look at the caller ID '17'.
I answered the call and put the phone close to my ear.
"Hello?"
I hear a relieved sigh from the other side.
"Where are you?"
He finally asked as I pause.
"I'm inside the manor."
I lied.
"Liar."
"How could you say that?"
I asked.
"I'm here in the manor right now. You're not in your room or office."

'Sh*t! I'm so screwed!'
I thought as I bit my lower lip.
"I'm here at the park. Near the fountain."
"Good, I'll see you there."
The call ended.
After a few minutes, I decided to leave.
I stood up and turn to leave but felt someone grab my wrist.

"And where are you going missy?"
My body stiffened as I slowly turn around and laughed awkwardly.
"Ehehe, I was just looking for something."
He smiled and I blushed.
I sat back down as he sat beside me.
"Why are you here?"
I asked.
"It's about the tournament."
He looked down.
"Did Goku ask you?"
I asked him again.
"Yeah, he suddenly came out of the blue and recruited me."
"So are you joining?"
He looked at me as he asked that.
"I'm still thinking about it. How about you?"
"I'm joining. Didn't Son Goku mention that the pirize for the winner are the Super Dragon Balls?"
I shook my head no.
"Well, if I will be the last man standing... I would wish for a cruiser."
"And why is that? I mean,
why a cruiser?"
I tilted my head.
"It's a secret."
He smirk at me.
"Oh come on!"
He chuckled.
"You'll find out soon enough."
17 stood up.

"Shall we go home, M'lady?"
He asked imitating Haru.
I giggled a bit.
"Of course."
I took his hand and stood up as we walk side by side back to the manor.
