The long awaiting day for the talented girls finally arrived and they debuted as the Stunners. It was a pretty exciting yet tiring period for the girls.
All were busy grinding in the practice rooms and even worked hard during the weekends. They were not allowed to interact with the boys for the timing.

But the two prominent lovers decided to meet up secretly between practice sessions. Mia would simply giggle when Taehyung would wink her way and sometimes when he secretly called her at midnight to crack his dad jokes, well definitely after hearing it from Jin hyung.

Mia, she was cute and straightforward just like Taehyung. And Taehyung loved how she bear with his jokes without even snapping at him. They were the only ones who were aware of this Jessica-Jimin-Mini-Jungkook conflict. They wanted to help but they knew its won't be the best idea.

Jimin had not seen Mini since that day, he was too overwhelmed with her confession. He was not sure of his feelings and kept thinking that maybe she's another infatuation. But if she really is, why does it pained him whenever she ignored him everytime he walked close to her or simply start a conversation, she would just nod and move away? Goddammit, I hurt her.

He knew he was the most stupid person when he said he wasn't sure of his feelings, the reality was that he was so contended that he thought it as some basic crush. And that's exactly what Mini felt, crushed. After he spoke the words,

I'm - I'm sorry I mean look Mini you are amazing but I guess I don't deserve you. I'm not sure what I'm feeling right now..

She knew she would have to suffer a heartbreak that he only saw her as a good friend. She locked herself up and had cried the whole night in her bathroom. Why? Why does this heart beats so erratically for that boy, that dumb mochi. I hate him, I hate him so much. No, I hate myself for loving him.

Was it Jimin's fault? He has never been in an relationship and he did love her, loved his best friend way too much to even understand the depth of it. He was simply holding himself back, putting a mask on his real feelings, thinking they would soon become friends. But faith has something else stored in it for them.

Jungkook was smiling like an idiot whilst their car made it's way back to Seoul from Jeju. Part of him felt guilty for not asking Jessica about her interests. He loved teasing her but this time it turned out to be worse, a lot more than he thought.

Jungkook was a bit different in comparison to Jimin. He dated a few girls here and there before being accepted in the company. It was as if he loved keeping up the playboy image, when in reality he was just a bit immature. He would always do hilarious things with his hyungs that would just end up putting him in a bunch of problems.

He was the youngest, he was just playful in nature, humorous. He was just Jungkook.

It was this incident that had him shook, he thought he made a big mistake. Why didn't he ask her how she felt about Jimin. Unlike Jimin, the brunette knew he has lingering feelings for Jessica. Surprising, isn't it?
The boy was too in a shock when he realized it himself.

All those times when she would smack him on the shoulders for blurting some perverted shit. Sometimes when she won't dance around with him or join him in the basketball court, he would just be sad and pouty and that's what it would take her to come back and squeeze his fluffy cheeks between her soft palms until he would flash her his bunny smile.

When they would go to their favourite spot, the rooftop during the evening, the time when the Sun was setting and chase each other untill they were breathless. How she used to peek to get a look at the vehicles in motion, the faint, warm light of the settling Sun flicking onto her face and making her appear more breathtaking than she already is.
And those were exactly the moments when Jungkook would try his best to tear his gaze away from her but failed. And then he would realize.
Oh Jess, look what you did to me. Look how hard I am falling. Fallin' in love with you.

Only if she had feelings for me. He would think shaking his head unknowingly when she laughed out hard at his lame jokes, having one of her hands clutching her stomach. It was rare but sometimes when she would smirk at him, it killed him and her quick smile following after would heal him again. Jessica was great at hiding her emotions, this and the fact that Jimin showed some interest on her was enough to make Jungkook believe
that he wasn't enough. He wasn't the one for her maybe.

But staying close to her was not helping at all. It would just bring unnecessary butterflies to him, so he decided to get her with her crush, Jimin. She likes him or that what he thought. He thought if their feelings would be mutual, then he would surely get over her. I can get over her, easily, I don't deal with this feelings shit. He thought.

But fate has something else stored in it because when Mia spilled the whole tea about Jessica's real feelings, for him, he was just more than shocked.

And as usual his assumptions were wrong. He thought that Jessica was just like him. He thought that the girl was maybe only liking him because she was attracted, because she stayed around him most of the time. The brunette always ignored the fact that he was having real feelings for her.

They would fool around for hours, and suddenly the boy would get all depressed, memories of his mother coming back to him, those times, the girl beside her would not utter a single word and just embrace him gently, caressing his soft strands of hair. He would slightly feel loved again. As if someone genuinely cares for him.

So when he started having a warm bubbly feeling whenever she was around, he was scared. Scared of the fact that whether his feelings were even true?
But Jungkook being the mischievous he is, thought of teasing her a bit. God how he loved seeing her flustered.

That's how their was car parked at the building's parking area. He informed Taehyung that he has some important business to carry out and with that he leaped out of the car, running through the corridors but slowing down when he received some suspicious looks from the staffs. As he was near her room, his heart fluttered, the sudden urge of seeing her made his steps a little more quick.

But he stopped when he found her in his room, hair cascading down her back and eyes glossy for a reason. And then he spotted a certain someone else in the room, his mother. He halted in his steps as a rush of emotions engulfed him. He didn't know what to feel for he was first extremely angry but soon seeing her fragile figure, her broken demeanor, he became quite. Tears started brimming his eyes as they threatened to fall any second when she spoke.

He wanted to run and embrace her, his mom, his only family, but the pain and unknowing anger refused to let him go. He stood there conflicted, he was numb but then he saw a figure walking towards him, he opened his mouth to refuse her but was cut off when he was dragged outside by her. He looked down at their hands, and then she spoke.

She was gentle the whole time listening to what he wanted to say, and then she explained him. She asked him to forgive her. He felt like a child in front of her, an immature human being who couldn't deal with people's feelings. Jungkook said its his fault maybe how he was hurting his mother but then she looked at him, smiled, and caressed his cheeks saying it was no one's fault.

Her words were like a remedy to his problems, he understood that it was indeed no one's fault. That he missed his mom, dearly and that he won't let go this time. He won't runaway from his conflicts. He would face them.
She taught me to face myself.

And for the first time the brunette looked at her and felt something,
a lot more than just attraction.
