Jessica's POV-

I was making my way out of the practice room along with a bunch of intertwined feelings. Neither it felt satisfying after denying Jimin sunbae nor I felt bad rejecting him. I knew he felt bad, seeing him with his eyes fixated on the wooden floor in silence as he didn't spoke a word after it.

I just knew that I couldn't accept it, how would I when my heart races for some stupid bunny.

How long? Just for how long will I have these feelings for him when this little heart is well aware of that he'll never reciprocate it. But more than anything I'm just too glad that he considers me as his best friend.

Its alright, if this way we can stay close to each other, then our friendship will be my first priority.

Thoughts of the previous incidents kept repeating in my head until my attention fell on a lady making her way towards the entrance.

She was dressed so simple yet her figure didn't fail to catch the attention of the working staffs of the building. The woman was approaching towards the entrance when she stopped near the girl who managed the records of people entering and leaving the building.

She spoke something to her and the next moment the girl was seen gesturing her towards the hallway.
Let me tell you, this woman may look a bit aged but she flashed the most contagious smile ever.

Wait...she is coming towards me. It has been a few months here but I never came across her. Does she wants to meet me?

The more she approached me the more clearer her visage got. She was wearing a pink hat...but damn! She looks like someone. Those round big beautiful eyes, she surely resembles someone, but who?

"Hello young lady. Are you an artist here too?" She asked with the sweetest smile and I couldn't help but nod at her as I tried my best to fix a grin on my face.

"Yes mam." I said as my mind kept filling with anxiousness.

Her eyes spoke nothing more than innocence and delicacy.

"I'm a guardian to one of the boys in this building." She said fixing her hat.

"Oh, you mean Bangtan, right mam?"
I asked as curiosity took the best of me.

"Yes, yes, are you close to them?!"
She asked as her expression was turning into the same as mine.

"Of course mam, they are our senior dance coaches." I replied with an assuring smile.

And after a few questions I thought of asking her.
"Uh...do I know you?!"

To which she spoke quickly as if she had forgotten to introduce her.

"Oh I'm so sorry dear." She said and what she said next made me dumbstruck for a while.

"I'm Naeun, Jeon Naeun."

And that was when I finally got the answer to my question, the question that has been scribbling my mind the moment this woman stepped in.

That is why I felt she looks like someone with those features.
"Are you--"

"I'm Jungkook's mother." She said cutting me off as she observed my surprised reaction.
No doubt she was a beautiful woman, I thought, Jungkook really took over her assets.

"Oh nice to meet you Mrs. Jeon." I said bowing a ninety degree and she nodded with a smile which refused to leave her face anytime.

"I've actually never seen you around, or you must have visited during the practice hours." I said but the next question I made just took away the ever glowing smile on her.
