The Secret Behind the Closed Door

Chapter Two: Bad Influence

{Day 2, Tuesday}

Tomorrow, while Tash was walking to school alone, she heard someone calling out her name.

"Tash! Hey Tash! Wait for us!!"

Tash turned around and expected to see her friends, Julia and Victoria. It turned out, she was right. Julia who was the one who called her from behind, ran towards her while Victoria followed after.

"Why didn't you come with us yesterday, Tash?" Victoria asked.

"Yeah! We waited for you at the entrance but you didn't showed up, so we just went home by ourselves.." Julia added.

Tash looked at the opposite direction, telling them a lie. "I was waiting for someone, s-sorry that you had to wait for me yesterday."

Her two friends accepted her apology despite Tash being unable to convinced them. They walked to school together talking to each other and laughing.

Meanwhile, in the classroom while they were studying, Julia threw a piece of paper to Tash. She got annoyed and grabbed the crumpled paper. When Tash opened it, she read the message from Julia.

"Let's cut class after break. -Julia"

After reading, Tash glanced at her friends who sat next to her. They were waiting for a response, she didn't have any other options so she nodded in response to Julia's message.

Break time was over, the girls cut class and roam around the school. Whenever a teacher would come by, they would hide until the coast is clear. They had fun cutting classes, they ran around chasing each other while laughing.

Tash stopped running when she saw the mysterious door again. She was tempted to open it since the janitor was not there anymore. She held the doorknob and looked around her surroundings for a bit to check if no one's there that might caught her in the act.

As she turned the knob, a creaking sound was heard. Tash did not expect the door to opened, she thought that someone forgot to close it. After opening it, she took a peek inside.

Her eyes widened after discovering the secret they were hiding behind that door. She quickly shut the door as her hand was shaking in fear. Julia and Victoria showed up after.

"There you are! We've been looking for-" Julia was cut off when Tash grabbed her clothes and yelled "I saw them!! D-Dead! Dead bodies!! They're everywhere!"

Victoria was confused so she asked her, "What? What do you mean by dead bodies? Where? I don't see any."

Tash answered nervously "B-Behind that door!! I saw them! They were rotting everywhere in that room!" as she pointed the mysterious door behind them.

Julia approached the door and attempted to open it to see if Tash was telling the truth, but she prevented her by grabbing her hand and pulling her away from that door, "No!! DON'T!"

"Alright, alright. Calm down, Tash..Let's just go back to our classroom and pretend that you didn't saw any 'dead bodies' there." Julia told her as she tapped her shoulder.

They went back to their classroom together and of course, got scolded by their teacher. But still, Tash couldn't forget what she just saw behind that door.
