"san? come in."
hongjoong opened the door wide for the younger to enter. he saw seonghwa sitting on the couch with a bucket of ice cream in his lap. he raised his eyebrow at him before looking at hongjoong for an answer.
"heartbroken."
his answer came out more of a question and san shrugged sitting down next o seonghwa who pouted looking at him.
"that was hongjoong's seat."
san almost let out a laugh at his hyung being all cute and stuff but he just shook his head and was about to stand but seonghwa held his hand let him sit next to him instead.
"what happened hyung?"
"suji dumped me."
"you say that with no emotion and here you are sitting with a huge bucket of ice cream."
"shut up. at least i have a reason to have hongjoong look after me and spend money on me."
seonghwa winked at the younger while san gasped.
"what the fuck? you like him?"
seonghwa nodded with a smile which turned upside down as soon as hongjoong entered the room.
"you should just confess to him."
"how can i? he is desperately in love with his soulmate."
san shook his head before snatching the bucket of ice cream from him and taking a spoonful of it in his mouth.
"i am more heartbroken than you."
"you should sort it out with wooyoung. you know it wasn't his fault."
"i know hyung. i just need some time. at least, let some of my feelings for him fade away so i can confront him and his soulmate together."
"what are you all talking about?"
"nothing. just seonghwa hyung ranting about how much he loved suji."
"why are you here though?"
"i just needed to escape yeosang. he nags a lot."
san rolled his eyes frowning at the memory of yeosang continuously bugging him to study. he thought yeosang would go easy on him as always but he was not at all an angel when it came to studies and he just had to escape or he would have exploded his anger on him which would have made the older upset and that was the last thing he would want to do.
" yea, the one thing yeosang really cares about is his grades and when you ask for his help in studies expect the worst of his behaviours."
"i didn't even ask for his help in the first place."
he stood up and went towards yeosang's room waving at the two hyungs.
"if you need me, i will be in his room. don't worry i will leave before 10 o'clock."
san sat in his room with his english book reciting the few phrases out loud trying to memorize it.
his phone beeped and he unlocked his phone.
where are you?
he chuckled at the older being worried about him. he could sense his worry even from his text message. he just decided to tease him to test his patience.
i missed my parents so i came to visit them.
he waited for his reply which took a while and he sighed resting his chin on his palm looking closely at his phone.
oh wait! your parents live in namhae! YOU WENT TO NAMHAE!

what he didn't expect was to be left on read. he rolled his eyes and continued studying english because he knew yeosang wouldn't let him study english back at the dorm because according to him his english was perfect and he needed to focus on other subjects too.
he flipped through the pages and what distracted him was a polaroid that fell form the book. he knew what it was but still dared to turn it around.
it was a picture of him and wooyoung cuddling which was taken by jongho, san's brother just because he found them adorable.
it was the same day they fought about who would be the big spoon that day. it was their routine of fighting on this matter even though san always ended up being the big spoon because wooyoung was way to cute to say no to.
he smiled at the memory. he remembered how shy wooyoung was when he first confessed to san about his likeness towards him.
before they started dating, they were really good friends and the fact that san has lost a friend made him upset. he didn't want to lose wooyoung.
he took out his phone dialling his number and pressed the calling option. he waited for wooyoung to receive the call but nobody answered.
he closed his book and left hongjoong and seonghwa alone saying goodbye to them and then walking towards his school building.
wooyoung was his best friend before being his ex boyfriend and that gives san all the reasons to forgive the said guy.
he had decided now that even though he wasn't over wooyoung, he would still wish the best for him.
